Manna Teriyaki

Ordered the teriyaki chicken for lunch while I was getting my hair braided next door. Food was fast (less than 6 mins) and tasty. The person at the register was also really friendly. They seem to also have Indian cuisine and Asian/Greek fusion items on the menu. I'd be interested in trying other things if I wasn't in a rush to get something quick and low risk.

I order from this restaurant all the way in Burien, WA from Des Moines, WA because they are so good! I always ask for extra sauce and they NEVER disappoint!!! I highly recommend trying them if you are in the area!

It's the bar food of bar foods... IF you even get your order. I have now attempted 2 orders from this place I think not receiving the food was less disappointing than the food itself.The first time I ordered I did it from Uber. I donno if it was that the restaurant closed early and didn't update their delivery options or what but after waiting over an hour for the driver to get to the place, it turned out to be closed when they were listed open for a few more hours. sad but uber at least refunded the order.The second time we got the food but as said before, its bar food. It was soggy, oddly sweet, and not really teriyaki. The shrimp tempura I ordered never showed up but instead got all veggies and seemed to have more of a pancake or beer batter on it that was thick and not crispy. The tempuraed potato was more like a blob of mashed potato or it was just all batter. weird and very unpleasant. The katsu was also oddly breaded, lacked any crisp or flavor, and was super dry. Not sure if they used a chicken breast or just way over cooked the strips. They were not burnt but super dry. The most lackluster teriyaki I've had to date. 0/10 dont recommend

I ordered online to go pick up my food. When I got there, there was no one in there so thought they were closed. I went in and asked about my order, the guy said none of their online works as new management. The menu is different also than before. I decided with the terrible dirty inside to go order somewhere I know.I will not go back.

Disgusting! I believe the only reason this place has buisness is from the many people out there who have no clue what TRUE AUTHENTIC TERIYAKI actually tastes like! The meat does not taste as though it has been marinated properly and the sauce has way too much ginger! Absolutely thee worst I have had in a very long while! I am so disappointed in it that I am going to give it away to one of the homeless who are lingering out across the street instead of wasting the money spent.TURN BACK BEFORE ITS TOO LATE! IVARS IS ONLY STEPS AWAY A MUCH BETTER OPTION!

Ordered the teriyaki chicken. Service was just what I expected! Very cool people running this place! Food's delicious and hot! The smell of the restaurant reminded me of the teriyaki restaurants that I remembered decades ago. The teriyaki too! Lately, it seems I could not find a solid teriyaki meal anywhere! I was beginning to wonder what in the world happened?! Everywhere I tried the basic teriyaki chicken was terrible. Always the same result, the flavor was way off and tasted nothing like the teriyaki chicken I remembered!Very glad I found this place! Now if I can only find more of them! Any recommendations?

Ordered Bento #2 and food was served fast. The miso soup was on the sour side which I surprisingly liked. There was a lot of vegetables but only 1 shrimp for tempura but I'm assuming that's what fair for the price. The fried gyoza was good and the beef teriyaki water my favorite. Tap water is available. We got there towards closing so I'd say that the restaurant was not at its best for cleanliness. I'd totally get it to go next time I'm in the area again!

I've been coming here for over 20 years. Fantastic teriyaki; never disappoints! They've branched out recently and everything I've tried has been excellent. Highly recommended!

Food: 3/5Service: 3/5Ambiance: 1/5Tl;dr: average tasting teriyaki prepped in a manner similar to food trucks from a restaurant that cuts expenses by cutting heat in what is a poorly maintained dining area.Too lazy to cook, so got a teriyaki bowl for dine in. It was priced only slightly less than the lunch special ($9 vs $11) but unlike other teriyaki joints that offer a bowl, Manna's included vegetables. The food isn't great, but it's not bad either. As another reviewer indicated, the food is pre-cooked and then re-heated when a customer orders. As far as teriyaki goes, I'm not a conneuseir, so I can't break it down like a gourmet, but the flavor is reminiscent of store-brought teriyaki sauces.Seems like there is only one employee working (there are 2), and that employee was very friendly and was as attentive as he could be. While the floors were clean, three of the four tables seating 4 or less were dirty. Really, there was no excuse for this one as the restaurant was empty when i came in and remained so until i finished lunch. This is probably the result of having only two people staffing the restaurant. The lack of employees also makes it difficult to get service if it is needed (eg, refill water)Also, there seems to be no heat in the dining area, and it felt as cold as it was outside - which was around 45 degrees. The restrooms weren't awful and were stocked with soap, sanitary seat covers, and toilet paper. Note that the restaurant was last inspected on 9/2023 and scored a "good" rating (3 /4).Would come back to get teriyaki to go if I was in a pinch, but considering how many teriyaki places all over the place, very likely not coming back.

Irks me that the reviews for this joint are so low. Born and raised in Seattle and moved to Texas; in town for the holidays and was craving teriyaki so I looked up some nearby spots and almost decided to skip on this because of the reviews.Ma and the family decided to come here regardless and had nothing short of a pleasant experience. Food: -- ordered a spicy chicken + chicken katsu plate. It wasn't on the menu, but they accommodated with no issue. Their chicken katsu extra crispy - I was a fan. -- salad dressing was fantastic. My parents talked about wanting to learn how to make it at home-- veggie yakisoba was greatService:The employees were extremely polite; gave us free water bottles, almost didn't want to charge me for extra rice until I insisted, checked on us if the food was okay, etc. Some kid even left his backpack behind and one of the employees ran after them outside Ambiance:Nothing special, plenty of seating. Food prices aren't outrageous like many other places.I've never written a review but I felt like this joint needed some love
