I dine here once a week and the reason I came back every week is Zack. He is a great customer service. He is very patient and when I ask him questions about a dish or food, he explains everything in a very genuine manner. He is very knowledgeable about all the ingredients and processes and with all made my dining experience is very pleasant.Restaurant manager is also a very nice gentleman (forgot his name) and anytime, anytime I visit Manna they give me something complimentary. Food quality is great. Any time I'm craving for some Middle Eastern food have to go back to Manna.

Great for a quick lunch! I love that you can customize your food, so you can come in with a group of people with different tastes. Even picky eaters will have something to eat! The food options are already prepared (base, proteins, add-ons, and sauces), and so your food is quickly assembled together as you order and handed off to you as you pay.Food:I ordered a mint lemonade and built my own bowl with:+greens base+lamb and chicken shawarma proteins+lots of vegetable add-ons+hummus and avocado labnehThe food was flavorful and delicious. I especially liked the picked vegetables that balanced out the meat. Everything seemed healthy and not too heavy. Overall, I think it was good value for what you get. Service:Very friendly. Even though there were a lot of people waiting in line, I didn't feel rushed when ordering.Ambiance:Super adorable inside! I loved the colorful interior. And now that it's fall, they added cute gourds to all the tables. Even though the space inside seems small, I didn't have a problem finding a seat.

One of the dishes that greatly stood out to me in this fast-casual / grab and go Mediterranean place is the "shawarmini". Currently, they are $5 each or 3 for $13, and I opted to get the 3 for $13 option as they had 3 different types of shawarminis and so I decided to get one of each:Cauliflower al pastor: fried cauliflower with pineapple salsa that adds a hint of sweetness and tanginess. This one is a great vegetarian option though the filling is a bit on the watery side.Chicken harra verde: the chicken is so juicy and tender, and the onions further enhance the flavor.Lamb awarma: my favorite of the 3. There were still some small pieces of cauliflowers, and there is also the lamb which is kind of like a ground meat texture. The sauce is super fragrant and pairs very well with the ingredients. It was a nice touch that they had pistachio and pine nut. Food came fairly quick - during lunch time the dish was made to order and took about 10 minutes. Think of the shawarmini as a Mediterranean style taco. Each one is substantial and quite filling, and I was absolutely stuffed after ordering 3 of them!

Could definitely taste the cardamom in the coffee. My bf got a bowl and asked for all the vegetables, but it was missing tomatoes. The menu also said bowls would come with 3 pitas but all the bowls we got had 2 pitas. We asked a waiter if it was supposed to come with 2, and they said yes, even though the menu said 3.

This is the sister restaurant of Mamnoon on Capitol Hill. I say that this restaurant has a bit more of a fast casual vibe to it. The quality of the food is about the same overall. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. The only thing I don't really like here is the falafel, which often come out dry and doughy. Other than that I think this is a great spot for lunch.

I ordered the Mujadara to go, and I must say, the presentation was pretty bad. And it was missing the pickled fresnos. But it did taste pretty good.I arrived 20 minutes before they close, and all the chairs were already up, which is fine, but doesn't add to the atmosphere.I'd suggest a few things to improve the food presentation. First, serve it in a round bowl takeout container rather than a large square one. Second, include the yogurt sauce on the side in a little container. Third, do something other than squish the toppings into one corner.

Stopped in for their soft opening and Manna is already knocking it out of the park with their hospitality.Brought to you by the same folks who operate Amazonian favorites Mamnoon, M Bar and Anar, Manna is a welcome addition to SLU. Menu has a few similar items and flavor profiles as Mamnoon and price point is about the same. They were already out of the pressed lamb shawarma, so I went with the musakhan instead, which is a sumac braised chicken and a mint lemonade. The shredded chicken melded with the other ingredients thanks to the pressed bread and the lemonade was refreshing on this 90 degree day.I was also able to try the Lebanese potato salad, labneh pasta salad, basal labneh, marinated olives and baba ganoush. Everything was super flavorful, but the olives were bitter and the labneh was unexpectedly spicy,The manager and staff were super welcoming and friendly and I hope they succeed here.

Stopped in for breakfast. Unfortunate they were short on a few items. Had to go with a vegetarian option. Staff was attentive and I got out of their quickly with coffee in hand.

WOW. I orderd the three mini-pitas. For only $13. I was treated to three unique flavors... one a rich, saucy spicy lamb and pine nuts with pickled vegetables on top, one a tender flavorful middle eastern pulled chicken, and one a roasted cauliflower tasting uniquely delicious. Spacious place with real silver ware and napkins and beautiful brass tables. Highly recommend! Sweet warm hospitality, too! And middle eastern music to set the mood.
