New Chinese restaurant in South Scottsdale. Went today with my husband for a quick Late lunch and Early dinner. Staff Incredibly Friendly and happy to tell you anything you need to know about the menu.Chef.. has been cooking for many years and was a chef in New York City and had a great Reputation.Food was Unbelievably good and fresh. Nice and light.. not Oily or Greasy. Portions were perfect ... Dishes and silverware clean and Shiny. Unfortunately at this time they have No Alcohol or Beer but Crisp and Refreshing Soda's, Ice Teas and Hot tea.Dining room was so Comfortable and relaxing. Music, it was relaxing and very Calming.. really pretty.Wonderful place for Families and Children...Booths and seats soft and felt good to sit back and enjoy. Plenty of space and leg room. We really enjoyed the many Chinese Paper Umbrellas from the Ceiling... so pretty to look up and see them. With their TV screen and umbrellas have a Peaceful, yet Island feel without it being overbearing. Great Air Circulation... not cold nor hot. Everything was very clean and floor was clean as well. Fast service and food was served nice and hot...Good prices... and lunch specials. We will be repeat customers this was a great find..Enjoy.

I read all the previous reviews and was quite excited about this new Chinese restaurant.Sorry to say the food I selected was so bad I couldn't eat it. I'm 70 years old and have eaten quite a lot of Chinese and this was impossible to eat. The wonton chips were disgusting. Wonton soup horrible, egg rolls terrible, and Kung Pao chicken the worst. The food also had a terrible odor I love Chinese and was really looking forward to this new restaurant. I never give negative reviews but something is wrong here!!!!Next morning I got a call from Chloe at the restaurant who apologized and offered a full refund and wanted to cook a meal for me on my return visit. I can't believe how nice and willing she was to change my opinion and make me a steady customer. Thanks Chloe I'm looking forward to seeing you soon and sampling your other menu selections!!!

Ordered a takeout through Door Dash. I am hypersensitive to shellfish so I put down in Uppercase letters to omit the shrimps in the wonton soup. I had also contacted the restaurant prior if they can do this, skip the shrimp, and the manager assured me that they could. When the food came, there were several shrimps in the soup! Big fail! Rest of the food was just okay, a little bit too salty and the rice was not cooked properly. Lo mein was good, the chicken was nice and moist, tasty. Cashew chicken was good too, made with dark meat and loaded with vegetables! The servings were big, enabling a lot of leftovers for a couple more days! All in all, not bad for the money. Just be careful though if you have food allergies!

This place was delicious. So clean and the service was unmatched. The food was so fresh and so tasty. I have trouble finding good Chinese places because everything tastes so syrupy nowadays. This place was so delicious. 100% coming back. The server also gave us free Chinese donuts! Can't top free dessert!!!

Very friendly and accommodating. Really liked the pork lo mein. Will try the sweet and sour pork next time

Really enjoyed my lunch today at Mandarin Kitchen. I had Kung Pau Chicken lunch special which came with soup, egg roll, wonton and fried rice. Everything was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back.

We ordered from Mandarin Kitchen for the first time today. I had the sweet and sour pork while my partner had the orange chicken. Both were on the lunch special menu, came in generous portions, and were really tasty! The sweet and sour pork even had fresh chunks of pineapple while the orange chicken had fresh slices of orange. Will definitely make this resto a part of our rotation!

We love supporting local restaurants! I was looking for something classic, tasteful, and reliable. This delivered on all cases! I'll definitely be coming back.

A welcome addition! Food was extremely fresh, delicious and thoughtfully prepared. Lunch special portions are quite generous and you'd have to be really hungry to finish in one sitting (I did). My only wish seeing the chef studied in NYC is cold sesame noodles as an option! But wow can't wait to return and try other dishes.
