Manchu WOK

I ordered several different meats and the clerk gave me a lot for the price. It was good and the store was clean. I gave 3 stars because it was cafeteria style dining. I didn't except amazing food and it was just okay. I would eat there again, so 3 stars.

Manchu WOK in Anacortes is a great choice for take out. The staff were friendly and endearing and provided some of the best customer service I've had in a long while at any restaurant. It is clear the employees enjoy their job and that is not something you see everyday. They recommended that I sample all the entrees before selecting one. It was awesome! Both the employees gave their recommendations and they were on point. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The lemon honey chicken was SO good and there was enough food in my one entree meal for two full meals and a snack later. This is a great option for all in the valley who want some great take out.

I really love this place they give you plenty of portions the staff are very friendly MS.Sharon is so cool she remembers me every week and really treats me like one of her own...the food is really great love the oriental grilled chicken...

Food was amazing and service was great. The amount of food the clerk served was incredible. Place was clean and tidy. Three stars indeed.

I hate to start off this review by saying that we went to Manchu because Carver's couldn't seat us. (Short on staff) It was not a bad alternative. In fact, it was a great trade-off!We are from Oklahoma, so we don't frequent this area. We were delighted that Manchu took the casino food vouchers we were given. We chose to share a 3 Entree plate. On this day, we were able to pick Orange Chicken, Broccoli and Beef, and Go-Chu-Jang Chicken. Our server was so accommodating. She offered to give us a half order of rice, and a half order of noodles when she realized we were sharing. I'm telling you, this food is good!

My family loves to come up to this casino and redeem their food vouchers at this Panda Express-like place. I've been here with them on multiple trips now. While the quantity of food is great for the price, the quality can be hit or miss. I wish there was a bit more variety in the dishes too. I've had the orange and honey garlic chicken but they're basically the same breaded chicken with a different sauce. On this visit, I ended up with honey garlic, orange and go-chu-jang, a spicy version. I don't eat pork and the only beef option was broccoli beef which looked to have more broccoli than beef. The chicken dishes were fine but just felt a bit repetitive. As for the chow mein and fried rice, I definitely prefer the chow mein as the rice seemed a bit off to me. Maybe it's a different type of rice than I'm used to in Chinese food.

Oh my gosh, this place offers the worst Chinese American food I have ever tasted. I only ate here because of the free entree provided to me by the casino upon signing up for their Player's Club. I tried their fried rice with garlic honey chicken as the entree, only because all the other options look even more unappetizing. One bite and I threw the entire plate away.

We were disappointed in the Manchu Wok for a couple reasons.1. The food was barely warm, certainly not hot. 2. My husband selected 3 different chicken entree meat choices. The difference was in name only, once on the plate, there was not a discernible difference. 3. I opted for mixed vegetables instead of rice or noodles. The vegetables were definitely lacking in flavor. Inconsistent size/cuts made some veggies over-cooked, while the broccoli florets were so big they were hard and cold.4. Overall, the value was lacking. We get a better meal, and for less money, at Panda Express.

Went to the swinomish casino on a whim and decided to stop in and have some lunch. The staff and Manchu Wok were welcoming and friendly. They offered samples of their various entree options. Their customer service made this a very pleasant experience. I would totally come back again. The food was tasty!
