Loved this spot. It's in a nice little area in the city, surrounded by bars and restaurants. The restaurant itself is super small, or seems to be, and then you walk in and they take you through a maze and you realize how large the restaurant actually is. The ambience was great, and the food was even better. We got the crab salad, boar gnocchi, and the lobster agnolotti and loved all of it. Deff a solid spot!

This was our least favorite dining experience in Boston by a lot. We had a 7:15 reservation and upon walking up to the host stand I told an older gentleman our name and to check in. He didn't say hi, was smug and said "your reservation is at 7:15 so you'll be seated after then". At 7:10. Haha OK. Great start and lovely way to greet new customers. We waited in the front and weren't seated until 10 mins after our reservation. Nbd but this man's attitude put a bad taste in our mouths. I want to say, I believe your experience at this restaurant MASSIVELY depends on where they seat you. The downstairs seemed lovely as well as many of the tables upstairs by the windows. Where did they seat us? For an anniversary (which they acknowledged at the end)...crammed in an upstairs corner next to a pass-way to the kitchen that was covered with a dirty looking curtain. The whole time we heard the kitchen staff talking loudly and banging things right next to us. Food: extremely lackluster. The one thing we thought was very good was the lobster ravioli. But our appetizers and the scallop risotto dish weren't very good. Our server, god bless him, was spread thin but was very kind. This whole area where the restaurant is, is so gorgeous and it's a shame we had such a bad experience here. Can't recommend.

When you're looking for an elegant place to celebrate a special occasion and want and magnificent Italian meal, this is the place to go. The service was outstanding. The food was impeccable and I will return. The Osobuco was one of my all time best I have ever had. Please keep this magnificent restaurant in mind for that special occasion that requires great service, amazing Italian food, and that white tablecloth feeling that you only get from a classic restaurant. You will really enjoy it.

Service:As a late birthday celebration, we came as a group of 4 hoping for a last-minute open table and were lucky enough to be seated outside during a nice perfect September late afternoon for dinner. The host was accommodating in showing us the menu *Pro Tip: it changes daily! Ambiance:The outdoor seating consisted of about 10 tables or less spread out in the center area right outside the entrance of the restaurant. There was small table lighting for once it got dark and nice linen tablecloths and napkins at each setting. Price:The average starts at 20 for anti-pasta or appetizers / smaller dishes, so it is a bit pricier. However, the quality and unique flavors are very worth it! Food:We got an appetizer of fresh warm soft centered yet crispy crust bread with in-house pickled olives and light pesto sauce. The pastas are made fresh in-house and absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection and paired with savory creamy sauces and scrumptious sides/add ons!I ordered the lobster ravioli, which turned out to be a slightly bigger portion than expected, perfectly portioned filling to pasta ratio. I didn't expect the mushroom and sauce to pair as well as they did and couldn't put my fork down once I took my first bite!

Food snob here.... Italian and Croatian roots. We know food. Wow and wow! From the service to the food, every detail that matters they got right. I will forever dream of the lamb gnocchi. We also had the ossobuco and Pasta con Sugo... delish.Ovi was our server and he was great. Pro tip: order it all. Note: seasonal menu, they have a new menu everyday.

In Boston for a work meeting and a group of us were luck to get reservations here for our party of eight First off .. staff was so friendly! We sat upstairs ( my only ding was it would have been nice to have one table of all vs two separate tables with two different waiters - but it worked out). We had two lovely bottles of wine .. risotto and tuna tartare apps -- amazing! I elected the lobster ravioli as I don't eat red meat and they did not disappoint! So delectable!!! Lemon cello cake to end this perfect dining experience! If in Boston - will def go back!

I was fortunate enough to dine at Mamma Maria twice in a weekend on my recent Boston trip. I dined one night and came again the next night for dessert. Sitting outside in the courtyard was the perfect spot to enjoy the summer weather and the great scenery of the North End in Boston. The service was great and both occasions.Food wise, everything was great. Started off with the bison gnocchi for an app. This was certainly different than your normal gnocchi, but it was very tasty and I recommend it.

What a perfect way to end a day in Boston! This place definitely gave us the romantic delicious experience of Italy! We saw this restaurant highly recommended on tik tok and decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. The ambience from the outside to the inside was Italian and romantic with the candles in the square to the dim lighting inside. It is perfectly located next to more dessert stores and pizza shops as well. We ordered as an appetizer the mandatory caprese salad that was fresh. To the pasta de sugo which is fresh made pasta with meat sauce and veal that was accompanied by risotto. We were very satisfied with how well the staff helped us choose our wine for night. All the recommendations given to us hit the spot and made our night even better. Overall would highly recommend this restaurant and give it a 15/10
