Had an amazing lunch-- a pork MOFONGO with a side of their sauce. The side sauce is tasteless. Why won't they fix that? We also had sautéed chicken breast with peppers. Perfectly cooked. It's so easy to overcook breast meat. The side dish was rice with pigeon peas; nicely prepared not greasy. We were so pleased with the food and service.

Mambo's Dominican Kitchen is like a fiesta in full swing--vibrant colors, lively Latin rhythms, and an atmosphere that just makes you want to dance. It's a cute little spot that packs a punch with its strong Dominican vibe. The place is brimming with energy, and you can't help but feel uplifted the moment you step through the door. When it comes to the food, let's just say, Mambo's knows how to hit the right notes. We had a large group, and not a single complaint was heard. Even for those of us who aren't well-versed in Dominican cuisine, the dishes were a delight. My order was a flavor fiesta that left me thoroughly satisfied.Service here is on point. From a quick initial order to the prompt arrival of our meals, everything flowed smoothly. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, striking that perfect balance. The sit-down style service adds a touch of class, and checking out was as smooth as a bachata dance move. So, why isn't Mambo's more popular? It's a mystery worthy of its own telenovela. This place deserves way more love and attention from the food-loving public. It's a hidden gem that needs to shine brighter.

This restaurant is a great opportunity to try Dominican food and hospitality. You should try the Santo Domingo coffee, juices and passion fruit drink. If you like falafel, you must try the quipes which I love. They are moist and juicy since they have meat, and the chimmichuri sauce is fantastic. The server was friendly and our order arrived in a timely manner. My friend ordered the chimi burger and it also had melted cheese on top of the bun. He loved it and he received a generous portion of fries. The pollo guisado is a "plato típico" or how traditionally or typically the dish is prepared or served in DR. It comes with white rice or with beans which can be drier. The decor will remind anyone of the island's love of vibrant colors, and love for sports. The country produces lots of baseball players and other sports athletes. The food is not spicy so it is a great place to enjoy the Latin culture, mudic, food and hospitality.

It's been over a year since I've come back and the food is still delicious! I ordered the Pollo Guisado with white rice. The chicken was so tender and fell off the bone very easily. We ordered the Mambo Platter to share and the green sauce it comes with is incredible. I also had a very refreshing papaya drink. This restaurant still gives me warm vibes with the food they make. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

I have seen this place in passing and have wanted to try it but just never took the opportunity. Yesterday we went after a hike for lunch. I now know that waiting so long to visit here was a mistake! The service was immediate and pleasant. It appears the business is a family run business and I loved that. The restaurant itself was very inviting and colorful! I almost felt like I was in the DR! The food was amazing and plentiful! I surely did not go home hungry! The tilapia was perfectly cooked and the soup was amazing although I didn't eat it as soup, I poured it over the rice. Yum!I definitely recommend this place and I'll be back as well

I recently visited Mambo's Dominican Kitchen, and it was a delicious experience. The Mambo's Platter offered a variety of options, with the green sauce and chicken stealing the show. The Passion Fruit Drink was a refreshing start, and the Mofongo was a delightful main course. I'll definitely be back for more!

First time here. I loved it. The mofongo was delish. It had small chunks of chicharron that made it extra flavorful. Our server was great, she answered several of my questions. I'm not as familiar with Dominican food. The ambiance is cute, very homelike. Several booth seating which I prefer over table seating.

Do yourself a favor an try this place!!! Authentic Dominican food - flavorful with large portions! The Presidente Dominican beer is a nice compliment to any dish. The plantains appetizers can be a bit dry as opposed to Cuban-style. It is really hard to find flaw with the food. Just about everything is just delicious, but what really sets this place apart is the service. The staff is friendly and always keeping an eye on your needs. As for the food, we have tried too many, but some of our favorites are the Empanadas for appetizers. Mix and match. They are all delicious! The Chuleta al Salten - ask if they are thin or thick, as the thin will overcook and be dry (unless that's how you like it) - it has some great seasoning! Bistec Encebollado is a go-to every time! Camarones al Ajillo for the garlic lover in all of us! Simply delicious! Even lunch is great here. Try a Cubano for a real treat! Do yourself a favor and support this local business and amazing folks working there!
