Mambo Italian Street Food

Was craving Italian food and found this place on Uber Eats. I ordered the chicken parm for $17 and the garlic cheese bread for $11, total $38.50.The food arrived hot and the garlic cheese bread was bangin! Could use a bigger sauce cup though. The chicken parm was awesome, decent portion size. Their marinara sauce is really good too.Overall, would definitely order here again!

This was the chosen restaurant for this Mother's Day. What a waste of a nice cool patio. While I enjoyed my salad and calamari things started to soar down hill. I saw the reviews from 2023 with bugs and bad service, but thought I would try anyway. My sister always told me the takeout food was delicious.Don't be like me....Stay suspiciousMy sister's glass had 1 roach crushed on the rim that she noticed right away. Once that was fixed, plates with tons of food piled on came to our table. That much food must have been hard to add adequate seasoning too. So it was bland. The lamb came out undercooked along with unclean shrimp and dry chicken. Margherita pizza was the last thing that came out in a to go box. We thought to ourselves, this is safe nothing will go wrong. Then we opened the box and a roach crawled their way out. These were baby roaches so it seems like an infestation. We weren't the only table having issues. I saw to go boxes left on the table and frustrated customers sending things back. We paid our bill along with the 20% service charge and vowed never to come back. They tried making it up to us with limoncello shots. But I didn't trust eating anything else. Stay safe out here.

On a Friday night at 6:30 PM.Ambiance is informal trattoria. Front windows are glass overhead doors that can be raised to the outdoors. Tables nicely arranged with two distinct dining areas, one smaller than the other. Cloth tablecloths and nice flatware. The menu is extensive. It has all the traditional dishes but it also has a long list of sides that are street food in Italy. Batter fried asparagus, fries with parmesan cheese, etc. The food is very good. It may be that the economics of restaurants have changed since Covid such that the minimum check per person has gone up just to cover cost of food and labor, so bump the food prices but also bump the size of the servings, which were pretty big. I judge the pricing to be moderate in these times. Prices were competitive with other similarly situated Italian restaurants we dine at in Cobb Co. A good value.Salads were varied and interesting. We had the roasted beets and orange with Balsamic and field greens with oranges, slivered almonds, and lemon vinaigrette. Each was large enough to be a very solid lunch or lower calorie dinner. I couldn't finish mine. For entrees we ordered a pizza Margherita and chicken parmesan. The pizza was dressed with plenty of fresh basil. The crust was pleasantly light and a little chewy. The chicken parm was enormous. The chicken it was cut from must have been some sort of ostrich. The owners must be from Florence, where the steaks START at a kilo. The side of linguine was large and very good. I would say a Sicilian style tomato sauce. We were weighed down with takeout leftovers.The service was attentive, timely, not intrusive and cheerful. Pace of service was slower than café or pizzeria, but not slow, rather relaxing, especially with a cocktail or a nice glass of wine. We had slower paced light pop live music on a keyboard with intermittent vocals. A few people got up and danced on a small dance floor opposite the baby grand.All in all, a great experience for a first visit. We'll be back and bring friends. We want this place to stay.

We used to come here often because it was close to work and home. I didn't do anything different than before so I called ahead to place a pick up order and the woman hung up mid order and I assumed it was a dropped call until I called again and the woman was just so rude and nasty and it was all uncalled for and overall embarrassing. The food is definitely not worth the headache. shame

If 3.5 stars was an option, that's where I'd be but it isn't. This restaurant is walkable to our house and we've had hit or miss experiences. Sometimes it's amazing, sometimes it's eh. We do keep coming back because it's close, the staff are nice, and they have live music with Charlie who is an absolute vibe! They have a wood fire oven for the pizzas which is great. I really like their lasagna, meatballs, spicy penne pasta, and minestrone.

*This is for a pickup order*I ordered food for pickup through DoorDash . When I arrived, my food was ready and I was politely greeted at the door . The vibe from what I could see in the lobby was that of a chill neighborhood bistro. I ordered the chicken pesto pasta and it was DELICIOUS. They also give very generous portions (I ate it over the course of 3 separate meals). I will definitely order again when I'm in the area.

So much quantity for a such a reasonable price! This lasted me two meals easily. Sauce was delicious, pasta itself was good too. Only call out is that the peas were just slightly undercooked!Very casual/comfortable environment - good for groups of any size.

It's a chill spot for brunch, that's when I went. The service was dope and top tier. Friendly, cool and fun. The wings and calamari were delicious. $20 for bottomless mimosas, around Atlanta, that's top tier and will make me a regular I had a tremendous time!

I can't wait to come back here- the food was delicious, patio seating was awesome, drinks were good, and prices were great. The ambiance is fun but casual! Service was good as well. They have an awesome selection of food and drinks as well as desserts! Such a good spot to hang with friends!

bartender with the black hair and glasses.... worst service i've ever experienced. i've been in the hospitality industry for almost ten years, and this woman who was well over my age did horrible. she focused only on the regulars, and didn't even acknowledge us at her bar until sitting there for almost 10 minutes because she was talking to the young men that she called "babes". she claimed to have been working there for awhile, but we frequent the restaurant and have never experienced such snobby, disrespectful service from any other stuff member. maybe if they get rid of her the business would be better off!
