So Delicious and FRESH!!! I've been wanting to stop by to try this place for awhile now and finally did today. Where do I start?! I ordered #17 -Chile Relleno &Cheese Enchilada. Also I asked for chips and salsa. Almost everything is home made from scratch. The cheese enchilada was outstanding, there was a fresh green sauce over the enchilada and it was to die for. The Chile Relleno is home made and amazing. I asked for a flour tortilla to make a burrito with the Relleno and beans and they brought me a huge, fresh, HOT fresh made flour tortilla. My heart skipped a beat, it was the best tortilla I've ever had. Overall the meal greatly exceeded my expectations. The chips are home made and the red salsa delicious. I will definitely be back. This is a small, family owned and operated restaurant just starting out . PLEASE SUPPORT THEM!!

Mama's Kitchen serves tasty Mexican meals at a reasonable price. The pork chimichanga that I ate was delicious. It was served with good size portions of delicious refried beans and rice. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The restaurant is in an older building with plenty of seating for the lunch time customers. Everyone in our group were happy with their meals and left full.

Simple set up but the food is the real deal. The menu is a billboard hanging in the middle of the restaurant with photos of each dish so you know exactly what you're getting. Why do you go to a restaurant? The taste of the food of course! So ignore the decor and enjoy the flavors, as the name says it's just like your Mexican mama makes (my mama isn't Mexican but you get the idea). Even the chips come warm and freshly baked and clearly not from a bag. The salsa is perfect. We had chicken enchiladas and chile relleno and they were both perfect. Would definitely go back next time we're in Everett.

Visiting from Los Angeles, Ca... wasn't expecting good Mexican food but wow! So pleasantly surprised. This place was walking distance from my hotel so went there since I was starving. It's delicious! Got the carne azada mulita plate. The rice and beans taste better than my mom's! Loved it! Highly recommend it!

Excellently decent. Mamas' Kitchen Mexican Food is a very legit spot for familiar Mexican fare. I've had a little bit of everything from the menu from the breakfast burrito which is delicious ti the taco plate or the five taco plate minus the rice and beans. The cafe is run by a small family that usually has the daughter as the cashier / waitress. I've had my food cooked by both the wife and husband and every dish is delicious without any discrepancy. It's about 200 ft north of Taco Book which has great tacos but Mama's gives them good competition. Check them out but make sure you check their hours because plenty of times I went there and ended up seeing a closed sign which leads to disappointment because when I'm in the mood for Mama's nothing else really suffices.

At first you might think "ahhh I don't wanna stop in, it's slow" but I can assure you that's a mistake! At first I pushed a pull door, but I was greeted by a nice lady who welcomed us in! There was a lot of options but I ordered chicken enchiladas and my company ordered the torta! While we waited we were brought fresh HOMEMADE chips. This paired with the salsa was delicious a great snack while we waited :) When the food came out, i was impressed by plate presentation and the food was Amazing I mean AMAZING!!! Probably the best enchiladas I've had in snohomish county and I'm pretty sure we have hit almost every restaurant in the county. Prices were good for what we ordered, we both enjoyed our food a lot. The torta was also the best I've ever tried, and she could agree! Toward the end of our meal, we were approached by nice gentleman letting us know they are also open for breakfast serving classic breakfast and classic Mexican breakfasts too! I'll definitely be back to this mom & pops spot! I felt at home eating there delicious food. We hope to be back soon

I noticed the Mama's sign a couple weeks ago. The place seems to have changed ownership or management, so I decided to check it out. It was a little sad to see that the restaurant was empty when I came by early on a weekday to pick up lunch. A van was blocking the narrow driveway to the parking lot and I had to wait for them to move. Otherwise, there is no parking because Mama's is on a odd side street close to Broadway. Don't park in the lot to the south! It belongs to their neighbor! The parking lot is a little tight but since it wasn't busy, there was no problem finding a spot. A colorful entrance at the rear puts you near the kitchen and bathrooms. Walk down a short corridor and you'll find the dining area. I think it was the family's daughter who took my order and chatted with me about her violin, which was laying open on a nearby table. The wait was short and soon I was headed home with 2 taco plates and an horchata. We tried the carne asada and al pastor tacos. The taco plate comes with 3 tacos and rice and beans. Everything was made with loving care, and BEST OF ALL, it was from scratch! The beans were flavorful and WHOLE! (This is a big deal since most joints use powdered or refried and don't take the time to make them in-house.) The rice was fluffy. The to-go container was carefully lined with foil. And the tacos were heaped with cilantro, meat, and onions. The accompanying salsa was mild and tasty. The horchata definitely seemed like it was not from a package. Although both meats were delicious, I really enjoyed the al pastor over the carne asada. Next time I will try other offerings but I'll always come back to the al pastor.I was surprised at the quality of this meal. I've passed Mama's a lot since I've lived in Everett, and ignored it until now based on the kinda weird location and the generally shabby exterior. Not anymore. I'll definitely be back to support them and enjoy one of the best Mexican meals you can buy in Everett.
