Fast Korean food made fresh to order inside the HMart Shopping Market, food court area.Friendly service from the owner, always courteous & thankful.Prices have gone up but the portions have remained large! The Korean Kkangpunggi & General Tso Chicken are very similar in good ways ~ crisp, light batter, tender piping hot chicken, sauced just the right amount. Always too much for one sitting so the to-go box is a must for late nite snacking!A side serving of fresh kimchee is perfect with the Jjajangmyun black bean noodles ;)

Dropped by a second time and we had a bad experience! Ordered the Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup and the Black Bean Noodles. Both tasted horribly! Dunno who the bloody chefs were, but flavors were off, seasoning was not on par and ingredients were bland and way off the mark! Wouldn't try this food court again.

Great place for lunch! Their food are delicious and have big servings, each dish can be shared. We always order their Jajang Myeon (N1) with Pork. It is such a flavorful and filling meal. They provide kimchee and picked radish as sides. They have great and quick service, staff are nice and friendly.Place has casual ambiance, there are plenty of seatings inside the restaurant and also more within the hmart store (shared space). They accept card and cash.

Have you ever been stuck with the age old question jjampong (spicy seafood soup) or jajangmyeon (black bean noodle with onions and pork)? Well look no further than Malri Hyang, a small Korean restaurant located right inside an H-Mart so you can get your grocery shopping done right after! The jjampong was packed full of flavor, spice, rich seafood, but still very light and not heavy at all. The jajangmyeon was smooth with nice chewy noodles, with the onions and pork swimming in the sauce and made for a savory complement to the jjampong. A complement because they give it to you in a combo bowl so you can get the best of both worlds!

First of all, the service was excellent. I am not sure if the lady at the cash register was the owner or not (Sunday evening), she was very nice to deal with , and honestly without her, I would've given no star at all. Now, as for the food itself, unfortunately I couldn't say the same. The Champong wasn't literally any better than what I could've made out of an instant package. The soup base had zero depth. We ordered two Champong, and both were equally tasteless. As for Chachangmyun, it was also pretty bad. We ordered both regular and beef only chachangmyun. Neither was good enough for anyone to finish the order. I hope this was a rare case where the main chef was on vacation, and our meal was prepared by an apprentice. I'd probably come back to give them another chance in the future so I can update the review. In general, I try to be a bit on a generous side when it comes to a restaurant review but I honestly cannot give more than 2 stars in this case.

Jjajjang myun is delicious here. I had gotten it for take out so I'm sure it would've been better there. Overall was delicious the only reason why I'm giving it one less star is is the side of pickled daikon and side of onion was VERY little. Those are the only side that it comes with, please give at least an appropriate amount for the dish.

Let's get to it! Food - 4/5! Flavor was there but the noodles were a big overcooked to my liking... maybe not for others. Atmosphere - relaxing and inviting even though it's attached to a grocery store. I like their tea!Service- 5/5! The girl that was working on Sunday night was super nice and attentive! Overall, will definitely be back!

Located in the left most corner of Hmart next to other korean restaurants in the store, they specialize in Korean-Chinese food. Can't find this in a lot of places so always appreciated.Jjajangmyeon + Tangsuyuk combo 4/5 - it's special that you can have a bowl split like this, to get to dip your tongue in many flavor pools. Cost is $24+tax&tip but I think the quantity for two dishes in one were enough to make you healthily full. The jjajangmyeon, black bean noodles weren't particularly strong in any flavor, mild and easily palatable for all ages. The tangsuyuk, fried pork was doused in sweet and sour sauce. I would try to elect for sauce on the side to keep some crispy integrity to the fried pork. It was adequately seasoned to me - not too sweet or sour. Both dishes would easily satisfy a craving for Korean-Chinese cuisine. But also nothing special to either dish. Comes with pickled radish and kimchi that is way sweet. I'd come back if the craving was strong while shopping but there's so many good traditional Korean restaurants in the area I'd try first.

Made a trip down to do some grocery shopping but had to grab a bite before I bought too many items lolThe ladies were super nice and patient while i was deciding. They were prompt and helpful. I ordered the pork black bean noodles. The pork bits were hard to find but you could catch the flavors in a few bites. It's not the best noodle dish out there but it def satisfies your craving

The best Jja jang myun i've had in the west coast up north is in Vancouver, BC and couldn't really find one within Washington state but this is probably the best you'll get in the area. Especially if you can't drive up north past Seattle. This is my usual go to Jja jang myun spot!
