Malenee Donuts

Why 5 stars? Because this might be the best donut and kolache spot in the area. --- --- ---I recently discovered Malenee when I was browsing Yelp in Conroe and was intrigued to visit. I realize that there are approximately 585 donut and kolache shops per square mile around here, but for some reason, I was really drawn to the idea of wanting to come here. Sadly, the first time I came by, they were closed because of a family emergency, but a few days later I came back and am so glad I did.First off, one thing I love is that they have many different types of kolaches, biscuits and tacos to choose from. I intended to order a little light breakfast of maybe two kolaches and two donuts, but I ended up spending nearly $30 because I couldn't help but try so many different things!I ended up loving everything. The biscuits were particularly awesome. I'm not sure what kind of breading they use, but it's unique. It's almost as if they top has a super thin layer of caramelized sugar on it, but without it being sweet. The texture of the bacon and cheese biscuit was primo. I was stuffed but couldn't help finishing that, because I loved it so much.The donuts were also great and a bit unique. Shipley's started the trend of having really airy donuts, which have now been copied by virtually all other donut shops. But these had a little bit more girth to them, while keeping that great "Shipley's-type" flavor. I also appreciated the drive-thru. It just makes life easier.After one visit, this will officially be my go-to donut/kolache spot in the future - I'm so glad I discovered it!

Went there 11/04/2021 the BEST! Donut in Texas!!! These donuts are everything you are expecting when you think of a donut; light, airy, not greasy, not overly sweet, flavorful, big. They have something for everyone, sprinkles, custard filled, chocolate/maple bar, Apple fritters, kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Added bonus it's a Drive-Thru! & right off 45 with quick access back on your way.

I've been meaning to get over here for awhile. You have to try it! This place is amazing! We had the Croissant sandwich with sausage egg and cheese. It's really good sized, so fresh and such a great price. We also had the bacon and maple donuts. They are super good. They rival Voodoo. Different, but really great. Just try this place. Can't beat the prices and the fresh and tasty flavors!

2nd time to this store in two days. I first came when going to Walmart. I live off of 830 so it's a bit further away but worth the drive.Gotta get the maple bacon The kolaches are a better product than most from the sausage to the doughI love small mom & pop joints. This family is so happy to help and proud of their small business. Looked like mom, dad and teenager all hard at work and the little one peaking through from the back.The only thing I tried that wasn't my favorite was the Bao. But it was very typical taste for breakfast bao.

Owners are very kind and sweet people. Donuts are definitely the best in Conroe. They also have a savory menu of breakfast croissants, biscuits and kalaches. There boudin egg rolls are insane. Would highly recommend

They are good at what they do. The couple times I've gone in they're so busy and rushing so much to attend customers as quickly as possible. I feel a bit rushed when placing orders. I did put in a letter donut order for my mom's bday recently and it was awesome! Tasted great and everything great, just a little rushed when speaking to them. Great place and I still go back time to time.

Always such great food. From the donuts to breakfast sandwiches. but nothing beats the EGGROLLS!!!!I also got a custom Happy Birthday box for my nephew. one day turn around time. I absolutely will not go to any other Donut place in Conroe.

Great experience and such lovely customer service overall! We were given free red velvet donuts with our orders and we will DEFINITELY be coming back when we're in the area again! 10/10 donuts, for sure.

Great stop on the way back to Fort Worth! Amazing selection of drinks, pastries, & kolaches! Very sweet owner with great customer service!!

Their service was amazing, she was busy attending customers in the window and jumped right in to help us by giving us samples since we mentioned it was our first time. Their blueberry and red velvet old school doughnuts were delicious. We didn't purchase any kolaches but she gave us a sample for the road and omg was that boudin kolache good.
