Mai Thai Restaurant

The food was good and the service was good. The only thing is it took a long time to get our food. Over 30 min for fried rice and drunken noodles. The dining area wasn't super busy, but maybe they had a lot of pick up orders? It kinda felt like our orders got lost for awhile. You order and pay first and they bring it out to you.

Delicious food. 5 stars. Service at counter was just ok. Walked in and she said "don't know what you are having?" We literally just walked in. No "hi welcome in, how are you? Have you been in before " ... nope. Do you know what you're having. Fortunately- the food was amazing and we will be back. We ordered basil fried rice wonton soup and pad Thai

This is my favorite oak harbor go to spot!!!!The food is always hot and fresh, and they do their best to accommodate any allergies you may have. I love the pad Thai, and chicken or beef teriyaki. They are my comfort food go to's! It's a small mom & pop shop that makes you feel valued. It's always clean, and always busy! Stop in for lunch sometime, you won't regret it!

Service was great, the nice gal who greeted us actually took our order when she brought us water (you usually order at the counter and take your food to your table). The good arrived very quickly and was great! We had a Thai iced tea, crab rangoons, Tom Kah soup and pad Thai. Everything was great, and we had leftovers.We will DEFINITELY go back again when back in Oak Harbor.

Such a hidden gem on Whidbey Island! Not only is everyone super nice here, but the food is good as well. You order at the front and sit anywhere there is room available. If you take it to go, you can walk and look around the antiques shop across the street while you wait for your food......GLASS NOODLE: 4/5was expecting thicker glass noodles, but none the less the flavoring is really good. Also the ratio of noodles to vegetables could be increased.THAI COFFEE: 5/5strong and creamy coffee with the perfect hint of sweetness

Bummer!!!!We placed a take out order. Food:Pad Thai with ChickenWe ordered Egg Plant Basil but got Beef Broccoli instead. When we walked in the restaurant it was empty. Looks like a pretty good size restaurant. Service was ok. Nothing stood out other than walking around the counter to give us our food. Unfortunately, when it was time for our pot luck and we opened our dish, it was Beef Broccoli instead of what we asked for when we called, Basil Eggplant. We were so disappointed. We enjoyed the Pad Thai but the Beef Broccoli was not good. I'd return again and this time if I order take out, I'll make sure to get the right dish.

Delicious Thai food!! We had a large to go order which we sent through online. Pad Thai, drunken noodles, Thai fried rice, green curry, panang Curry, spring rolls, lemon grass, and garlic stir fry. We also got an assortment of meat: chicken, pork and beef. I would recommend all of it! The curry is definitely soupy but very flavorful. Online it said the order would be ready in 10 minutes but it took closer to 40 minutes, which was fine because we weren't in a hurry but maybe call after you place the order to get an accurate time. There is inside seating if you want to dine in but very simple inside, nothing special but functional. Super friendly servers and our entire order was correct with the spice levels and rice preferences.

This place is amazing. It has some of the best dishes I have ever eaten. The Tom Kah soup is among the best . The Curry dishes are exceptional.They are friendly and knowable and like their Customers . It is a clean and has well spaced seatingAnd last, but not at least there's enough parking.

Pretty decent food but nothing like some reviews claiming it to be the best Thai restaurant in Washington. I definitely agree that the food tastes great but it comes with lots of oil. I really loved the chowmein. One of the best tasting chowmein I ever had. But on the other hand fried rice was pretty average. All starters were tasty but oily. I really liked the panang curry though. Service and Ambience were both good.

This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to! The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered take-out and it was prepared on time and was wrapped in foil, so was HOT after traveling home. The dishes were all so tasty - we got the veggies with shrimp, chicken fried rice, cashew chicken nut, pad Thai and the deep fried egg rolls and crab wontons. The crab wontons were delectable! We were so pleased with the service and food, and the prices were so reasonable! We will definitely be back!
