We have tried the Kent Maharaja and loved it! We were pleasantly surprised to find Maharaja open in Issaquah. We tried biryani, chicken Karahi and bullet naan(naan filled with green chilies) and all three were really good. I would probably always get a curry to go with their biryani to add a bit more flavor but overall we enjoyed everything we had here. Can't wait to try their appetizers and other curries.

Tricky. As a vegetarian, I love Indian food, and over the last 25 years, I have spent a lot of time there on business. The weekend buffet was a question mark. On the one hand, there is a good variety of options. Plenty of veg and non-veg options. Plenty of hot fresh naan, rice options, salad, and mixed chutney exist. You rarely find chutneys in a buffet. My preferred way of eating is small plates, so it checks all of those boxes. A fair number of people for Saturday afternoon at 1. The saag paneer was fresh, hot, and seasoned for local preferences. The onion pakoras were salty to the point of being inedible. The veg korma was the same. The deserts were delicious, and I seldom see carrot halwa or rasgulla in US Indian restaurants. Service was attentive. I will try again in a few months and let you know.

It is a newly opened restaurant in the same space where Bukhara Grill was located. Very spacious and clean. They were planning to start lunch buffet as well. Service was pretty quick on a weekend. I ordered Seekh kebab for starters and it arrived like a sizzler was the taste was really good. For main course I ordered Shahi paneer and garlic naan. The naan was soft and tasty but paneer curry was not great. Look wise it was good but taste wise felt something was not up to the expectations. Then got the dessert we ordered Pista Icecream which was really good loaded with nuts.

Looks like this place is new in town. And I must say this is one of the nicer ambience Indian places. They also serve buffet however I went for dinner. The Karahi Panner and Naan were delicious. I tried their Gobhi Manchurian which was but saucy but pretty decent. I would highly recommend this place!!

I think we are considered regulars here now, and it's time I write a review.First of all, Maharaja is such a HUGE upgrade from Bukhara! In terms of what, you may ask. In terms of everything. The food quality, the menu, the service. We have been visiting this place pretty much on a weekly basis for the last two months and never been disappointed. Their "dinner for two"s are our go-to and we absolutely love the food. Mango curries, tandoori chicken, aloo gobi are all finger-licking good. They also make amazing naans and we love the raita too. Finally, the service here has been such a delight. They have two young ladies who always greet us with smiles and take good care of us. So happy to have this amazing Indian food in Issaquah. We will support them with our business as long as they are here!

So delicious! We ordered a family feast for Christmas Eve and wow Maharaja did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was delicious, portions were generous with lots of tender chicken and fresh vegetables. And even though we ended up happily stuffed, we luckily had leftovers for repeat delicious meals for the next couple days!

First time eating here and really enjoyed it. We ordered lamb vindaloo, chicken curry, and aloo gobi. All were tasty but we agreed the chicken curry was the best of the dishes. Good service and nice ambience as well.

I'm from out of town. My goal while on vacation is to try something different. Today, my husband and I tried Maharaja Cuisine, we are so happy we did!The food was excellent. Our server suggested the mixed grill, the portion size was extremely generous a 10 out of 10. The samosas 10 out of 10 and the naan was 15 out of 10. I'll end by saying that the service was also excellent.

We wanted to try an Indian buffet which we haven't done for years. This is one of the options popped up. They serve weekend buffet from 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM. They charge $19.95 for adults and $15.99 for kids (5+). This is a very nice restaurant with some great ambiance. Huge place with a lot of seating options. Staffs were friendly. Since they told us the charge for kids buffet, we ordered from their menu for kids. Plenty of entrees - both veg and non-veg on their menu. We ordered Butter Naan and Shahi Paneer. They were good. The buffet has some various options. One good thing is there were a few good vegetarian options - that's the best part. They were delicious too. The lamb curry was also good - not spicy but very flavorful. Rice options were limited. Starters were decent. The Roti served in buffet was not really soft. The dessert section was dull. Around 2.45pm, they told that the buffet is wrapping up; and if needed we can take one final round. We were still having our food; when I went to pick up the dessert, the whole section was empty except the cake. They never refilled them! When asked they said they have ran out of those! I have no issues with the food. Vegetarian food was really good, although the non-veg options were okish. Ala Carte order was good too. With the options on the buffet, they charge too much for the buffet. $15.99 is outrageous for kids. Also, when you offer buffet, you should make sure all items are available through out. "Sorry, We ran out of it" is a lame excuse especially when you charge $19.95 / person. In my opinion, buffet is not worth it! It ticks all other boxes!
