My wife and I recently visited Maggie's on Meeker, and let me tell you, we were blown away! We both ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was absolutely divine. The hash browns were perfectly crispy, and the gravy paired excellently with the chicken fried steak. In fact, I dare say it's one of the best chicken fried steaks I've ever had. I couldn't resist eating every last bite, even though I probably shouldn't have!To top it all off, we indulged in a walnut sticky bun, and it was simply delightful. The perfect balance of sweetness and nuttiness made it a memorable treat. In my opinion, Maggie's on Meeker is one of the best breakfast spots in the area. I would choose their chicken fried steak over Wild Wheat any day. The quality of food and service here is exceptional, and I'm already looking forward to coming back for more. If you're in the mood for a delicious breakfast that hits all the right spots, look no further than Maggie's on Meeker!

Awesome family restaurant in downtown Kent. Clean, great service even during the rush on a weekend morning. Great old time diner breakfast with all the favorites including fresh baked items.

By far the best breakfast place around! The food is consistently good, quick and the service is friendly as are the customers. It's best way to start the day!

Went to Maggie's on meeker for lunch. We came in and signed our name and how many were in our party. After about 10 minutes we were seated. I had Maggie's mess. It came with hashbrowns topped with gravy and an orange slice. I requested for Tabasco and Tapatio and they brought all of them and more. The hashbrowns were crisp and the gravy softened them just a bit. I did like the orange slice at the end as "dessert" to cleanse the pallet. Then we ended up at Pied Piper and found out you can order breakfast at Maggie's and eat it at the dive bar! Will definitely be back to try that!

OVERPRICED. NEW OWNER JUST RAISED THEM AND ITS RIDICULOUS. $20-$30 per person Easy just for breakfast. Better food for that price elsewhere. Used to go about 1x per week but won't go back.

My husband and I enjoy the food and the service is very good. The only complaint I have is with the oatmeal. Maybe, instead of putting everything on it (except for brown sugar and milk, which is served on the side in little cups), have items on the side and then the customer can decide what they want and don't want. I ordered it with everything, not knowing they put nuts on top. I didn't finish it and it was half warm, half cold. The mgmt was very nice and took the oatmeal off of our bill.

If you're looking for a great breakfast spot, look no further. This is a great find in a neighborhood community. Maggie is wonderful and her creations (Saturday quiche day) are worth the wait in line. The staff give the feeling of family dinner. Nothing flashy and no gimmicks. Just good food and good service.

Bright and cheerful place for breakfast. Jessie, the waitress was phenomenal. She's the queen that runs the whole place so ably and well.We shared the corned beef (not the canned option). It was tasty . The 3 pancakes I ordered for Matt were bit small if you are very hungry.

Vegetarian review.Maggie's is probably my favorite hometown-style diner that I've been to so far. The space is deceptively larger than it looks on the outside, and is minimal and clean on the inside. The food is exactly what they advertise: simple, delicious, affordable, and well-done diner food. They have a variety of quiches and some other specials on the weekends to add variety, but I almost always get the griddle breakfast, with pancakes or a waffle (try the waffle "fabulous" with fresh fruit and whipped cream if it's available!), and swap out the meat for hash browns or breakfast potatoes. When I'm feeling super savory, I'll grab an omelette with tomatoes, peppers, and onions. Nothing I've had here has disappointed me. The service is really top notch--we are always warmly welcomed, our coffee is kept topped up, always checked in on regularly, and the food comes out fast. Even during busy weekend brunch times, we haven't had very long of a wait for a table of 2-4. We've also done takeout on occasion and had great experiences with that as well.

Flavors were spot on with both meals, service was happy and quick. Place was also clean. This is the second time we have been and not disappointed. Great gem downtown Kent.
