Mae’s Thai Kitchen

Great food, amazing service, with a cute & clean environment. Highly recommend Mae's. Been here a few times service is always so welcoming. Everything that we have tried has been so full of flavor! Nice to have a restaurant close by with healthy options. Make sure to give it a try, you won't regret it.

I am a big fan of Lao papaya salad also eggplant stir fried here and every time i order alway get a perfect spicy ! Their Thai tea and green tea was amazing ! Service is outstanding , if you are in the area make sure you come check them out.

We visited the San Ysdro outlet and right after,  my wife got a craving for Thai food . We tried this small Thai restaurant called MAE'S THAI . We couldn't find any review about it but still we went to try it . As soon as we got there, the place is small with 5 tables only but very clean and welcoming look . We were approached by a Nice lady in the counter , gave us menu and we are so Familiar with Thai food so we ordered our food  fast . We Had Pad Woonsen with Pork  , Red Curry w/ chicken , and Tom Yum w/ Chicken . The food came all in to go containers but still we are able to Dine in because  they will give you plates and utensils .  Sunny the cashier and server at the same time was very nice and very friendly . My Wife made the first impression of the food and she said she Loves the food here . And I agree as well that the food here tasted  good  .Plenty of Parking around . And this restaurant just opened 2 weeks ago .

Food was pretty good. I loved the curry and fried tofu i ordered on the side. I had passed this place about 3-4 times because I live 1 block away and today i decided to give it a shot. I am definitely coming back. The server was really friendly and helpful. The small cozy restaurant is very nice and the contrast of the white, green walls, plants, and wood finish floor, and tables gives it a very pleasant atmosphere.

Food tastes like ma's & pop's. Service was friendly and food tastes homemade. Place was clean and quiet. Highly recommend!

Food was fresh and delicious, and the customer service was above and beyond listening to my husband's dietary restrictions to accommodate his needs. He went with the eggplant stirfry with seafood cooked in mushroom sauce. He loved it

Because we get take out from Mae's, I cannot comment on the service and the ambiance of the restaurant. We have ordered take out several times and each time we are wowed by the delicious food. My favorite is the yellow curry with vegetables. The curry is warm with lots of flavor and the veggies are plentiful and cooked to perfection. My daughter orders noodles with shrimp or a shrimp and fried rice dish which she loves. We always have enough food leftover another meal. I highly recommend Mae's Thai Kitchen!

Liu's Chinese Restaurant is closed, owner retired, and has been replaced by Mae's Thai Restaurant...

New favorite Thai restaurant that opened up not too long ago, owners are very kind and hardworking. Definitely recommend if you're looking for Thai cuisine and are in the area.

Well ... the gentleman who took my order was very very nice. Although I was eating in, I placed my order at the counter and paid with 18% tip, prior to food. Sat down at nice clean table, to my dismay the windows were blocked blocked by Very Bad menu item pictures. Please remove immediately. They detract from your business. The food was mediocre. Might have been my order but it was simple pad thai with pork.Next time I will ask them to prepare best dish of the day.
