Good and reasonably priced selections mostly from smaller importers. Weekend tastings are a huge help in finding favorites from lesser known vineyards, and owners are always helpful. Going there tonight to find a big, special wine for my in-laws' 50the anniversary.

We just love this place. A great selection for such a small space. Plus, there is always something good to discover at their weekend tastings. Highly recommended.

Met Jim and Mark on a rainy, cold stroll walking the dog a few weeks ago after reading about the new opening on the Central District News Blog. The space is tight but filled well with a nice array of wines - from big California cabs to some lesser-known Rhone varietals, even a few bottles of port. The prices seemed very fair, with more space, the only thing I'd suggest are some higher-end bottles (this is not an attempt to bloviate). I noticed that there was not much overlap between inexpensive bottles here versus many of the chain supermarkets, which leads me to believe they did some research before opening. Kudos for that. As the walk to Leschi Market is a mile and 350 feet straight down, this way I stay on the ridge, can enjoy the lake and even stop for a coffee on the way back. As I assume they'll diversify the selection based on customer feedback and their own sense of curiosity, it'll be interesting to see this wine shop evolve as I see quite a need for eclectic wines in a 10 block radius. My neighbors and I are happy to have these guys around.

So happy this wonderful wine store opened near me! They have a smart selection, full of excellent values. I bought a macon for $10 that was just fantastic. No pretension, and all quality.

Really happy to have a very good wine merchant in the neighborhood. The owner really knows his stuff and is very instructive to those of us who are not wine experts. I plan to buy all my office Christmas gifts there!

Dropped by here for some wine for homemade Sangrias. The man that was working there was very nice and knowledgeable. We picked up 2 bottles of some Italian wine for 8 bucks! Delicious on it's own, and fantastic for sangrias!

Worth the trip! We discovered this place last December when we needed to pick something up on the way to a Christmas party. This is a small neighborhood store, but the selection is overwhelming. Luckily, the owner is not only friendly and helpful, but even -- dare I say -- erudite. The choices he sent us off with drew enough attention at the party as to have us send more business his way. When we visit Seattle, this is where we buy our wine.

A true neighborhood wine shop! Delightful owners and an impressive collection of wines in an impossibly small space! Like a Harry Potter closet of wine wonders! Not sure what style you want? Need to know what to pair with your lamb chops tonight? Just ask. Such a wealth of knowledge awaits you! And don't be afraid to spin the proverbial wine roulette - you won't be disappointed!

What a gem of a place in "downtown" Madrona. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. A huge selection of moderately-priced (and higher-caliber) wines from around the world as well as other items you may not expect to find in a wine shop of this size (e.g. Luxardo maraschino cherries). The frequent tastings are an added bonus. I've made this place my new go-to wine store.

I love this wine shop. The owners have managed to keep a great system for the store to remain open through Covid (more of a window than a shop but clean and responsible). In pre-Covid times they offered free tastings every weekend. They sell affordable wines from amazing local offerings to import steals. I always love perusing and appreciate Jim and Mark's wine knowledge. I was also an avid fan of their monthly wine box offering. Great variety and a good way to try new wines.
