I came here for a late lunch on a work trip to Orcas. Service was great, I had a wonderful view by the window, and my lunch of crab bisque and the steamed clams was excellent. This will be my new go-to spot on Orcas. Highly recommended.

What a splendid restaurant! Inventive dishes and libations, a gold-star setting overlooking the sound, and staffers who are eager to please! Somehow my reservation (made by phone a month earlier) had been ignored or lost,, but we managed to secure a lovely window table anyway. Even though the blind had broken and the afternoon sun glared in the window, the view and the table were still spectacular--we just put on our shades! My crab cakes were exquisite and a friend ordered a specialty salad with grilled salmon. We were both very pleased. Drinks were a party in of themselves. Mine featured grapefruit and a friend had a lavender-infused drink. So pretty, you hardly want to drink them!The double margarita ordered by a friend was incredible (she said) and her food was perfect.

The drinks were amazing, the basil pesto chicken sandwich was very juicy and extremely flavorful, the chicken was seasoned perfectly, the salmon sandwich was seasoned exceptionally and full of flavor, especially with the pickled onions. Sarah was very knowledgeable, friendly and gave a great recommendation! Would easily come back again and highly recommended!

A little pricy, out of a lot of the seafood late on a Sunday. But what we did get was great and our server was very good. Views were very nice.

Made a pit stop at this restaurant on our visit to Orcas Island with family.It is located on the waterfront. Very nice view. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere. There's a bar you can sit and dine at as well.We ordered tacos, burger, steak and fries. Everything tasted good and fresh.Our server was nice. We enjoyed dining here.

Despite what my mom and her husband say (which is giving everything a 5) I am a true reviewer, and this is my honest opinion. Views were nice (everywhere has a good view on Orcas so this wasn't anything spectacular). Food was nothing special at all especially for the price. Service was not good. Our waitress was amazing, but they are short staffed and despite having a reservation, it still took forever. We had to remind the waitress for our drinks and correct orders, etc. Again, I get being short stuffed doesn't help but if your charging this kind of money for dinner you better be on it. Wouldn't recommend wasting your money or time here.

A solid 3.5 We were able to walk up and get reservations for a table of 4 and come back in 25 minutes. So that was pretty awesome. Our server was very friendly and pretty attentive so definitely no complaints there. Great views from the restaurant but from where we were sitting there was also a few flies buzzing around. So that was not the most pleasant. We ordered a few appetizers and I'd definitely say pass on the oysters and hummus. The hummus was thick and chunky and not very palatable. A delicious hummus should be creamy and spread easy. The oysters were alright but were just missing some seasoning or something. The coconut shrimp was the best appetizer but nothing I haven't had anywhere else. For my drink I ordered a double fruit margarita and it was okay. A little heavy on the citric side so I didn't finish. Now for my main course, I went with their nightly special which was a coconut curry mussel and this was most definitely a 5/5. It was creamy, slightly spicy, packed full of flavor and the mussels were sweet and fresh. The dish was everything I was hoping for. It absolutely made up for everything I lacked in the appetizers. My husband ordered the portabella burger and I must say when that came out we were all slightly disappointed about how small the mushroom was and my husband noted that his mushroom wasn't juicy and was a little on the dry side. Overall a decent experience for the limited options on the island.

Sad to see the changeThis has been my go two at least twice when I visit the island.I was here last fall and was hoping it was a fluke with the food and service - unfortunately noIt breaks my heart when a classy good food place goes south.The first visit day before last was ok - service was ok and the salad was ok Today was my last visit - sat in the bar - old lady - party of one - me - ordered a cup of crab bisque - the flavor was excellent - I've eaten in many excellent restaurants- but you had to search for the threads of crab-the bar tender was ok - but mostly ignored me- I was going to have dessert but it was all frozen and thank you to him for being honest because I can tell the difference- asked for a very hot Irish coffee - sadly got a very sad Luke warm version - darn -gotta take it off the list when I return in October - I don't get paid for reviews and I'm an elderly person who has a passion for good food- beverages - ambiance and service

BEST fish and chips we've had! Great service and friendly. Here for my birthday and couldn't have picked a better place.
