Madison Street Market And Deli

I was excited to see a new deli sandwich spot pop up in the area, but after getting lunch here, I'm extremely disappointed. I understand they are new and ironing out some kinks but it's frustrating to pay $15+ for a mediocre basic deli sandwich. I ordered the Club House sandwich, but I was given a turkey and cheese sandwich - no lettuce, tomato, or even mustard. They use Boar's Head meat so great quality, just extremely over priced. The space and service is great thought. Plenty of seating, open windows, huge selection of cold drinks and to-go foods. Fast and friendly counter service too. I'll try again in a few months, but for now, I'll be going to Jimmy John's.

Such a good new place! I got a "Monorail" sandwich- chicken, bacon, havarti cheese, lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing on a toasted ciabatta roll. The sandwich was really good. Crispy lettuce and fresh tomato, a perfect amount of meat, bread is just excellent. They use Boar's Head meats. They sell a ton of things other than sandwiches- samosas (potato and curry), empanadas, tamales, and then a ton of cookies and other baked goods from Macrina. They also have wine, a freezer with some frozen options (Amy's mostly, I think?) and then two cases with various drinks, fresh food, milk, fruit, hummus, and other things. They also have chips and candy. There is some seating inside. The owner (I assume?) is so nice. They opened on 2/12, so they're still super new!

I was excited to try out this place for lunch on a weekend day - not a lot of places are open for a quick lunch option in the area. The people were super nice, the seating is great and they have a good variety of items for a corner store. I got a Reuben and a soda at just under $20. The sandwich was great but for the price ($13.99) I do wish it had more meat on it. For downtown, it's a good option. I do miss the Amazon Go that was in that location but this place is open on weekends so that's a huge bonus.

Amazing staff who are always smiling and welcoming. They have a great deli with Boars Head product but also have wonderful little snacks and 1 very large pickle. I always love walking in there.....they are so nice. My next move is to use them for catering!

Extremely expensive, soup and half sandwich $16. Rude, soup terrible, Italian sandwich was a ham and cheese. Looked like it was stepped on. Do not recommend.
