MAD Greens - Scottsdale

This is a great place if you love salads like I do. The food is fresh, service is quick and the dining room is a decent size. I like it better than salad and go because the food seems fresher. They have a variety spices you can add which mades the salad more savory.

I love this place. When it's hot I'm craving a nice big salad. MAD Greens is amazing. I am looking forward to trying out all their salads. My first time here I got the new Cleopatra one for lunch and the Ty Cobb (get it??!?) for dinner. Both were great. I paid the extra buck to make it big.

Nothing negative to say about this salad spot other than it isn't easily visible from Scottsdale Rd otherwise I definitely would've visited before now. A creative and delicious menu that can seem a bit overwhelming at first glance, but the staff is patient and more than happy to walk you through it. My salad was fresh and delicious as was my side order of hummus and veggies. Total for the order was right around $20...maybe a buck or two more with my drink. I did join the rewards program which resulted in $5 off my first order. A little pricey to visit too often, but it will definitely be a nice dinner alternative to the standard fast food spots that are around. Quite a few tables outside if you choose to take in the sunshine.

I ordered a make your own salad with balsamic dressing. The romaine had so much yellow and barely any green. I picked 4 toppings and each extra topping after that was .75 cents! Dressing was bland. I got a side of the pasta salad which was a mushy overcooked blob of noodles with no flavor. I met a friend for lunch as even though it was a great visit with her, I would reconsider going there again as my order of $22 went in the garbage. The wait staff was nice and attentive, I just didn't care for the food.

It's nice to have a fast healthy option. That said, these employees do not clean the tables regularly enough. I had to sit at a booth that had not even been wiped down of its crumbs. It is not as though they are too busy with customers. Nobody has been in line since I sat down, and looking up from where I sit, I see another table that nobody has cleared where someone left dressing and some spilled food. This is unfortunate being that they rush you through the line in a super hurry. Food is good. I have been coming here for years. I always order the Mark Twain which is no longer on the menu, but they still make it for me. I wish they had name brand Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi here. Their diet soda tastes more similar to Royal Crown Cola's Diet Rite which I don't care for. I asked to buy a bottle of their dressing. Strangely the gal didn't ring me up for it. Odd. Lost sale for them, and I head home dressingless. I suppose if I wanted it badly enough, I could go back up and make a second purchase, but it feels so awkward that I'm just going to forget about it.

Stopped in for the first time for lunch . They were so nice . I ordered a half spinach salad and you can choose what you want in it , if there is something you don't like . So I skipped the onions and they added extra pecans ! My daughter ordered the half salad and side of Mac n cheese . It was all delicious. We will definitely be back .

Great customer service. Clean restaurant. I enjoyed my salad and picking out healthy options. I would go back!

The salads were good and the service was fast! The place was clean and has plenty of room for groups.

There are so many restaurants in the area. If looking for fast and fresh, Mad Greens has you covered. From order to checkout, the whole process was under 5 minutes. Much like Chipotle, salads, bowls and wraps are composed in front of guests. Dishes are ordered by name, but are easily customized. Mac and cheese is also available. I did not see anyone ordering them. Not sure if the Mac takes a little longer. If really in a hurry, ordering may be done ahead of time on the app. I ordered a regular sized Edgar Allen Poe. Salads may be upsized to a large for $1 more. The regular was the perfect size for me. Greens were fresh. While the scoops looked a little small, every bite had some variation of toppings. Chicken wasn't dry. Light amount of dressing still had all the greens coated. The salad was perfect for a warm day.
