Loved it here! I visited about few months ago on a Saturday evening, and after we arrived, we were promptly seated upon arrival, opting for a regular table instead of one for Korean BBQ. After browsing the menu, our waiter provided some helpful suggestions that we went with. While waiting for our food, a woman, whom I assume was the owner, graciously offered us tastings of soju without any prompting or expectation. It seemed that she was genuinely just interested in us trying it so we did and loved it, so we decided to get a bottle of the grapefruit soju which had been our favorite. Our food arrived shortly after. I had the beef bulgogi, which was absolutely delicious, and my friends enjoyed their dishes just as much. The same woman later checked in to see how we were enjoying our meal, and we were happy to share how much we loved it. Her genuine appreciation made us feel valued as customers. I really liked it here and would definitely come back!

Korean BBq is always fun to go for dinner, it could also be hit or miss depending on the restaurant. Mad for Galbi did not disappoint though. We were really excited to try this place out, glad we went. The staff was very attentive but not overbearing. They make sure to take care of everyone but did not want to rush anyone out the door since Korean bbq can take some time. Menu options were reasonably priced as well! Should be our new go to Korean BBQ!

I found myself in Nolensville a couple hours before my hockey game. Rather than eating the same mediocre fast food, I decided to treat myself to something a bit more tasty. The problem here was I was feeling a little nostalgic, probably because I talked to my mom the day before. I wanted Korean food. Korea BBQ & Sushi is usually my go-to but I was already deep in the heart of Nolensville and I came across this place in my Google search. After reading a couple reviews, I decided to give it a shot. Here's the thing, I didn't go here for Korean BBQ. Like I said before, I talked to my mother the day before and I wanted one of the comfort Korean dishes. A soup or stew. I was pleasantly surprised on arrival and what's the saying about ethnic cuisine? You know it's good when the local ethnic people go there. I think the restaurant had 90% Korean patrons. My waitress was nice and patient. She checked on me often and refilled my dishes of banchan. I ended up picking the jjamppong 짬뽕 for my entree. In Korean restaurant fashion, jjamppong is served in a humongous bowl, big enough to take a bath in. Chock full of seafood, I was pleasantly surprised that it had chunks of blue crab in it too! A nice balance of spice in a briny seafood broth, it hit the spot in a way comfort food only can. The only mistake is now I have to go play ice hockey and I'm hoping I don't pay the price for it. As for the atmosphere, it's modern. You get traditional hole-in-the-wall Korean food in a relatively modernized setting (TVs, music, contemporary furniture) without all the tackiness. Even the staff were hip, young servers. The owner (or manager) was friendly too! I'll definitely go back again before my next hockey game!

I dined at Mad for Galbi on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 7 pm. I had an excellent dining experience here. I've been to many Korean bbq restaurants, most are usually AYCE. But this is probably one of the few non-AYCE Korean bbq restaurants I would return more frequently. The food tasted delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant looked new and clean, which is always a nice first impression when dining for the first time. For appetizers, I had creamy shrimp and seafood pancake. The shrimps were large and fried nicely and coated with just the perfect amount of cream sauce that didn't overwhelm the shrimp. The seafood pancake was probably the best seafood pancake I've tasted. Perfectly crisp and had a generous amount of seafood in it. For entrees, I ordered seafood soondobu and 2 meats for the grill: galbi and pork belly. The seafood tofu soup was also one of the best tasting tofu soups I had. The broth was aromatic and filled with all kinds of seafood. It was a nice comfort dish to eat with rice. The galbi tasted excellent - nicely marinated and I cooked it with a nice char. The pork belly also delivered. I liked the cheese corn and the steamed egg sides. As for the banchan sides, I thought there was a good variety and tasted adequate. Service was excellent. Super attentive and friendly. Our table must have asked to refill the banchan sides multiple times because they were very small portions, but our server delivered. Great service and great food deserves a 5-stars rating.

Finally got a chance to stop by and worth it! Staff is fantastic and Corey was awesome - great service and recommendations! Meats were a good quality and plenty! We ordered Galibi and Bulgogi to grill! Haven't had cheese corn before but's it's delicious and steamed egg with Korean BBQ is always great! All banchans were great but not a fan of their pasta salad...really wish they had a potato salad instead. Salad and lettuce was great BUT if they had radish or rice wraps that would fantastic. Have only send 1 middle TN Korean BBQ place with radish or rice wrappers. Good beverage selection - wish places carried several Korean beer options versus just one. Loved that they have good ventilation and very clean. Would recommend putting something fun on the TV screen. Watching people eating on screen or cooking meat in a kitchen is not really fun to watch while you're eating - you'll understand when you see it. All in all a great experience! Great food, service and atmosphere.

Our dinner at Mad for Galbi was delicious! The menu offered an array of Korean delights, from traditional stews to Kbbq. We indulged in the Mad Honey Soy Sauce Fried Chicken, Creamy Teokboki, Bulgogi Pasta, and Chadol Doenjang. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor, I really enjoyed the creamy teokboki, it reminded me of Alfredo-like sauce. The bulgogi pasta was delicious too, the meat was well marinated but not too sweet. The Chadol Doenjang stew came with tender beef brisket, tofu, and veggies, though its soybean paste base wasn't to my liking but that's kinda of my fault cause I didn't read the menu lol. Mad for Galbi has definitely secured its place among my favorite Korean spots in Nashville!

Amazing food and will definitely stop here again for more! Came here with my sister and friends for lunch and immediately was greeted with prompt service. Food was all delicious with great portions enough to share. They have both BBQ grill tables and non-grill tables. We opted for the non-grill, but will come back for the grill version as the place smelled good coming from the BBQ tables.

Laila greeted us warmly when entered the restaurant and talked through the menu with us. She brought us a few tasters: kimchi, salad, fish cakes, eggplant and broccoli; followed with a soup broth; vegetable dosot, Jeyuk Gui, Japchae, Tonkatsu and a bottle of wine. The food was delicious and the service wonderful.

Best Korean place in town. Redditors will try to tell you that "Korea bbq and sushi" is the best. No that place sucks. From what I understand, this is the same owner as Hai Woon Dai, which was previously the best Korean place in town, so the quality is understandable.
