M R Submarine

If you read my tip you'd think I would never have come back here again. It appears that the foolish employee no longer works here. He's probably living in his mom's basement reading his text messages. Anyway, I gave Mr. Sub another try. It's real good. The bread is fresh. The processed meat is tasty. They give you free (included, not free; nothing is free) fries or chips with a footlong sub. I usually decline. The turkey sub is awesome if you want to try to eat healthy. On those days when you've had enough of eating "healthy" opt for the original "Mr Sub". Delicious and full of Italian meat and cheese.

Got to say I do like your summarine sandwich. At any Mr. Sub. I like the sorted submarine sandwich. With all the different kinds of meat on it And the cheese extra cheese. The place is clean or like that. The guys are nice and courteous. The food is a lot better than Mr. Subway. I hate to say the bread taste like it's been sitting there for days at Mr. subway

Okay. My love for Mr. Sub as been well documented as of late. But I've about had it with the employees at this particular location. I've had enough of their lackluster order taking and creepiness.Seriously. Stop talking on your phone when taking my order so you don't screw it up. Because even though you ask me five different times about my rather simple order, you still manage to screw it up somehow. And quit eyeballing my lady when I'm not looking. She's scared to even place an order herself anymore. You 'tards.It's a shame cause the fries at this location are much better and they give you more. Hire non-idiot employees and we'll gladly come back.

So, this joint is a few blocks from my parents' house and I have been coming here on and off for the past twenty years! I used to hang out here with my friends when I was in high school (Yes...scary!). Also, my dad and I would buy the sandwich meals here on our way to the Bears games (Oh, the awesome memories!).Last week, when I was visiting my parents, I went back there with my dad to pick up lunch for my mom, dad, and me. The place is almost exactly the same! There was a line of male workers ready to chow down some lunch too. What is so great about this place?!? The super fresh ingredients and crispy fries (They also have pizza puffs and gyros.). Sure, Subway and Jimmy John's is fine if you are in a rush and need a cheap lunch, but Mr. Submarine is the place to be if you are willing to spend an extra buck on less mass produced sandwiches (More love go into them!).I am so glad to see this independent sandwich shop still open after two decades. Can't wait to go back with mom and pops!

Best deli place that brings old memories back . Fresh, delicious and healthy food. Best sauce and taste

Actual good value for its price. 10 dollars for a king size sub and large fry. The guy who runs it can be a bit intimidating but he's very cool.

I would highly recommend MR Sub in Alsip! Ed assisted me in putting together a very large order for tailgating of 80+ people. His suggestions were perfect and had just the right amount to feed the crew.. 40 foot longs! Ed had everything ready, on time, when I arrived to pick up my order and had it packaged flawlessly. Thank you Ed and will be sure to order through you next time!!

Mr. Submarine is the best sub place around town. This place has the best quality food and the best quality service. They have something for everyone! This place is a hidden gem and has been feeding me and my family for many years! Best roast beef in Chicago warm or cold!

The owner of this Mr. Submarine is actually a really nice guy. I'll admit there has been some sketchy employees in the past but they're no longer there. I've been to multiple Mr. Submarines around the area and this is one is by far the cleanest. Also free fries with a footling sub!

Horrible owner of this location. Got a sandwich and got home to find mold all over one of them. Brought it back and instead of saying I'm sorry let me remake it he tells me I didn't get this there today but it's old. The employee verified to him I was there recently. He was rude and obnoxious. I understand things happen and was not mad when I went in but to blame me was uncalled for 119th and Pulaski is the worst ever. Don't give them your money go to the other locations where they are decent humans
