M.L.Rose Craft Beer & Burgers - Melrose

On a recent trip to Nashville it turned out that a friend that I served in the U.S. Army with was going to be in the area, so we decided to meet at M.L.Rose to catch up after 34 years.Being Friday around dinner time I thought the place would be packed, but it wasn't. It was just...busy. My wife and I arrived first and chatted with the hostess while we waited for our friends to arrive, which was about 5 minutes.Interesting parking, because it's actually next to the building in what, I assume, was one the first floor to the building above.M.L.Rose is your typical tap house (they don't actually have their own beers, they bring in kegs from all over the place) and has a pretty comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.Our server was Mitch, and Mitch was awesome. Great suggestions when my friend and I were trying to build our custom flights. (To be honest, I don't remember what my flight was, I was just too happy to catch up with my buddy Marvin.)I chose the Sgt. Pepper burger (rather appropriate, given I was meeting with an Army friend) and it was SUE-PERB. It consisted of two smashed patties, habanero jack, serrano pepper-bleu cheese, grilled jalapeños, onion, tomato, chipotle ranch. Their fries were, hands down, some of the best fries I've had In My Life.There were a number of screens and quite a bit of local sports/news/brewery memorabilia around the place, and the music was up-temp but not so loud you couldn't have a conversation.And so we sat for probably an hour-and-a-half, catching up and telling stories, not feeling rushed at all. Mitch checked on us now and again and didn't mind us occupying the table.If I find myself in the area again I'll definitely visit again. This seems like a great place to hang out.

We're visiting from VA and our family that lives in Nashville suggested we grab an affordable dinner here. There isn't a huge variety of cocktails advertised but they have a full bar so I'm sure they could make whatever you like. Of course, the beer options are plentiful. We had the smothered fries and nachos as an app. The fries were very salty but overall, fairly good. For entree I had the crunch wrap. A tastier, better version than what Taco Bell offers Cocktail prices are pretty high but overall, no real complaints.

Thursday night football with a group of 8. Parking was a little tight but they have a two-story garage and we were able to find a spot without much of a wait. They turned the game on right away when we asked, but the TV was broken and the image was warped for the whole game. The food was ok, I had the Thai chicken peanut salad which was enormous, fresh, and surprisingly spicy. I tried my friend's burger, which I did not find impressive at all, especially the bun. Overall a decent place to watch the game if the TVs are working but I wouldn't come here for the food.

On my regular monthly trips to Nashville,TN this location is just another perfect reason to visit. Hands down the BEST burger(s) to be found in the city. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The relaxed atmosphere is a good place to relax. Even with all the televised sports it still provides an opportunity for great conversation at your table. Usually I'll try the "Burger of the Month'" but they are about to update the menu. Surprisingly I tried this current menu staple for the first time. Instantly became my new favorite. Hope it remains available.

M.L. Rose is a fun sports bar chain with some classic sports bar food! They've got a wide variety of beers to choose from and a few alternatives. We got the cucumber melon kombucha and a hard cider, which were both delicious! We ordered at the bar, which provided quick and enjoyable service - there was quite the crowd on a Saturday so plan in advance if you have a larger group! We got the ANM.L burger and the Cajun chicken sandwich. Burger was delicious and chicken sandwich was alright - definitely recommend sticking with what they do best and get a burger. The biggest issue was the fries were doused in salt and made them unenjoyable to eat. Ive been here previously and haven't had this problem, so maybe the cook just had a heavy hand with salt last night! I'd recommend if you're looking for a good burger and fun casual spot!

If you are looking for a place for a beer with wings or a burger try M.L Rose. They have several beers on tap and several bottle beers. The beers on tap are very cold. For dinner I got wings, an 8 count. I split between Garlic Parmigiana and Cajun Dry Rub. Garlic Parmigiana was ok, the Cujun Dry Rub was very good. Also, got a side of fried pickles. They forgot to bring the Fried Pickles as an appetizer, but they did take them off the bill.

I do have to say I'm not a big fan of this place for dinner. My husband however loves their wings (says they are the best he's ever had), but I'm not a wing person. I'm also not really a burger person either so I don't fault them at my weird palate. I am here to recommend their brunch menu though! We didn't even know they had brunch, but we walked in here at 1015 am yesterday looking for somewhere open and ML Rose did not disappoint. Their drinks were great, the food was hot and yummy, and the service was great. It really is a great place to grab a drink and hang with people. Their beer garden is pretty cool too. I only take away a point because finding parking here is horrendous when it's busy, and I'd love a place with more parking. But I highly recommend!

The atmosphere of this place is very chill and a great place to have a conversation! However, the seating is not done very well. You can sit wherever you want, and the servers will come to you. This is great until we tried to flag down a server for 30 minutes (and the place was slow the day we went, so it was not because of a lunch/dinner rush). Once we were served we immediately ordered since we had waited so long, and our food wasn't amazing. I got one of their burgers, and the toppings were great. However, the actual patty was flavorless and dry.

Once again fantastic service from Curt who always recognized my preference on beers and food. Curt is super courteous and engaging every time I enter this establishment. Curt goes out of his way to ensure that the food is great and the drinks are full! I thank him for his positive attitude and welcoming demeanor. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Such a great place. Meet you with some family while I was in town for work. Amazing craft beer selection that will satisfy true craft beer snobs. Loved the Fried Pickles & Peppers, HIGHLY RECOMMEND the wings. Best I've had yet. Very large wings, great taste, and their Ranch is FANTASTIC! Go to M.L. Rose, DONT MISS OUT!
