It's like a bodega and I'm fortunate enough to live close to it! They have great sandwiches and they're pretty good value as well! I've tried everything they have on the menu and I've loved them all! I would recommend the bull rider to anyone who hasn't had it yet. Sometimes, they make special sandwiches for a limited time such as the carribean roast pork. Make sure to snatch those limited time sandwiches up when they're available! They really are something else. The sandwiches get to you fairly fast but they can get busy so make sure to call ahead of time if you're in a rush. It's also got some groceries so you can pick up snacks, drinks or whatever you need along with a scrumptious sandwich. I'll admit there's not really much out nearby so it can be a bit of a ways away from everything else.

Get the Vinny - best Italian sandwich in Seattle that I've had. Gives me New England deli vibes. Gotten this sandwich at least 10x and every time it's so good.

Oh my goodness. My husband discovered this hidden treasure in Queen Anne during the pandemic recently and now it has become our favorite sandwich spot overall! It is a little grocery store but they also cook delicious sandwiches you must try for lunch!The first sandwich I tried (and only one I've gotten so far) is the Feisty Cajun. It is definitely not super spicy (I love my spicy foods!) but there is a slight kick to it! I love how generous they are with the amount of protein they include in their sandwiches, and the amount of each ingredient is PERFECT! I always have a problem with the bread being too thick/thin but Lyons' sandwiches has the perfect thickness of bread. My husband's favorite sandwich is the Bull Rider - this one also has a nice kick to it with Mama Lil's sweet hot peppers. Still not super spicy but the peppers add a great kick overall. :) The size of their sandwiches are also the perfect size as well. In fact, I can't finish mine in one sitting so I have leftovers for later in the day when I'm craving a snack.Swing by this cute little gem in Queen Anne if you are craving a sandwich! It is a must try. There's no parking lot but I've never had an issue finding a parking spot either right in front or right around the corner.

The sandwiches are fresh made and some of the best I've ever eaten. These are take and go as there is no indoor/outdoor dining space but even my strong preference for "sit-down" places won't keep me from coming here anytime I'm in the area. YUM!

I'm a little torn about how to review Lyon's Grocery. It has received fairly good reviews over the years, primarily for to go sandwiches. I'm always looking for a good pastrami sandwich so I have been there several times over the past few years. Each time I've been satisfied with my sandwich, the last time it was an Italian style sandwich, but never felt it was very special. So my take on this place is if you are nearby and want a nice sandwich, by all means check it out. If you're looking for a great sandwich, keep looking.

I Love Lyons. I used to live in Westlake and would often walk a couple blocks most mornings to get a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. The owners are nice and will recognize you for coming in a lot. They were also very understanding when I ordered something with pine nut pesto on accident (I'm allergic to nuts) and let me re order without paying for the second sandwich. My personal favorites were the breakfast sandwich and the Ave but I have only ever heard good things about the rest of the menu. Definitely worth a trip to see for yourself!

Their sandwiches are so tasty and amazing. High quality sandwich ingredients entice your tastebuds and you begin to crave their sandwiches. Won/Juan? is very attentive to details and provides friendly customer service. Hidden sandwich maker always scores a home run on sandwich taste and preparation. Don't be fooled by the quaint hole in the wall convenience store appearance. It has great quality sandwiches and products on the shelves. Kept very clean.

Hands down the best sandwiches in Seattle. The AVE is my absolute favorite!!!! Hits the spot every time. The other sandwiches are incredible too and they have weekly specials so make sure to ask!!
