Lupe Tortilla

TLDR: If you've got no other choices... ok. But whyyyyyy would you choose to go here?!Visit: Weekend (Dinner)Order: Large Grand Gold Margarita- 7.2/10Average. Not good. Not great. Adequate. Puffy Tacos: 7.2/10Crispy fluffy texture of the shells were great, but everything else was mediocre and bland. The great value version of Tex Mex. The Pace Picante of Salsa. 5 staff members at the entrance with no greeting. Acknowledging the guests who walked in behind me like I was a ghost. Walked into the bar with no direction. Never offered chips when everyone around me got them automatically. Ordered margarita and the bar tender took other orders after me, made their drinks (dropped off their chips) and came back to ask me if I ordered salt or no salt (when he had previously confirmed twice). Salsa is garbage. Diced tomatoes in tomato water. Bland. Beans served with chips... okay. Ugh it was a chain of service errors and lackluster food...

This has to be the worst Lupe Tortilla. The waiter was friendly. He said his name was Octavio. ‍We were busy enjoying chips with chopped tomatoes, and beans. ( They don't have any salsa!!)I cannot believe it! No salsa whatsoever?!! Then asked for tortilla soup, they charge you the size of a large bowl of chicken soup, at any other Mexican restaurant. This was the size of the tiny bowl of chopped tomatoes. Almost like ( pico de gallo).I asked for mixed fajitas. They were very dry and burnt. I returned and wanted to leave. But, manager had the oda city to charge me $24.95!! For what?!! I only had water and a long wait o these awful fajitas!!! I am never going there again!

I'm in love with their fajitas!! The beef fajita meat is so tender and flavorful! The tortillas seal the deal- they are huge!! Bigger than your face, light, and not doughy. The portion size is good too, me and my husband split fajitas for one. The service was good and prompt. The restaurant is quite large but sectioned off so well that it's not too noisy.

Placed order on the phone for steak fajita with bacon wrapped shrimp. Had to wait a few minutes for them to get it together. They returned back with a huge bag! I had to ask if it was a meal for 1! All items were packaged nicely and with care. The meats I had in my dish was chicken, beef and shrimp. All were amazing except for the chicken. It wasn't bad just not as amazing at the other items. The peppers, salsa, grilled peppers were excellent. They even left a few seeds in the pepper to make sure it's spicy! Only complaint was they left out utensils!!

It's official! Lupe Tortilla off of Highway 99 in Katy, TX has the most authentic Mexican food. IT'S DELICIOUS!!!

Always a good experience. We always get their beef fajitas and they never disappoint. The service is pretty quick too.

starting off we ordered the most expensive margarita on the menu and it was served in a warm glass so by the time it came to our table the ice had watered down the whole drink. ordered the fajitas half order and most of it was onions and peppers and barely any meat. They only serve 3 tortillas with it also to note. We also ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp and it the bacon was basically raw. ALSO, the butter sauce that suppose to come with the shrimp was demulsified and a huge amount of oil on top. tasted disgusting Last thing to mention we barely got any refills, there was condensation from the AC spilling in our drinks the whole time and the bathrooms were a filthy mess.1/2 order of fajitas (majority of it was undercooked onions and peppers and jalapeños)

I'll be honest, I have always loved this place. For years we would come, it was my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at however, the service has gone way down hill. It has truly been the WORST service I have experienced at a restaurant. On more than one occasion we have come from the moment we talked to the hostess to checking out everyone is so incredibly rude. The food here is delicious don't get me wrong, but it is not good enough to be treated this way. They are supposed to be in the customer service industry however I feel that they could care less. For the amount of of money you pay for the food it's ridiculous they don't treat their customers better. As a life long Lupe lover I'm reconsidering and it's a shame.

Tried this restaurant at two different locations. Neither one lived up to expectations. The quality of the food is just average. The restaurants were crowded and noisy. I won't be back.

We had a lunch in at Work and on their to go menu said the tray would feed 5 people. There's now way this would feed 5 people. Don't order the party pack because only 3 people would eat good and rest stuck making bean and cheese nachos with the sides. Then we called and talk to the manger just to make shit up and don't care. Last time we order from Lupe de doop.
