Lumberjack's Taco Shack

This is by far the best taco food truck I have ever had! The taco shop has a real spunky and fun vibe. The taco and the corn has the same yummy sauce that has a little kick to it! This food truck is above and beyond! I wish I would have gotten more than 1 taco! It was so good!

Went to Trevor's Liquor, and they were serving food right next to the patio. So good! Had my food, and got some to-go for my husband. They added a 'top-secret' taco in for free, and it was a spicy version of the lumberjack taco. Holy shitballs it was so good! Will definitely find them again! Awesome service too!

Found this place here on Yelp. Was looking for a hearty lunch after hiking in Potowatami State Park. I love food-truck-cuisine so when I saw that it was rated "five stars" I made a beeline for their location. I was a bit disappointed. First, Cash is a little full of himself. I get that he has won a bunch of awards but I didn't need a marketing pitch - I was already there! I asked for a recommendation. I basically got the cop-out "everything's good" response. "We do one thing, and we do it really well!" After hearing how great they were, I chose the "Murph Off". It came with about 1.5 ounces of meat and was garnished with a pinch of red cabbage. It tasted good (not spectacular) but I thought it was worth about $3 not $5. The Mexican corn was also good - plump, juicy, and well roasted, with a bit of char on the kernels. It was slathered in a sauce that was likely sour cream with chipotle pepper or similar. Well done but not particularly innovative. As I ate, there was a group of twenty-somethings at a nearby table who were super cool - laughing too loud and telling a story about people having sex in a porta pot. LOTS of loud F-bombs were dropped. While annoying, I would normally not include this kind of thing in a review except that I discovered that they were friends of Cash - he came out and sat with them between orders. I'm no stranger to the F-word, nor does it offend me, but this was happening 3 feet from other tables with patrons. Classless. Cash didn't seem to mind. I haven't eaten Mexican or even tacos anywhere else in Sturgeon Bay, but based on my experience I probably wouldn't go back here. $14 for two small tacos and an ear of corn is a little steep for what I got.

I had tacos here a year ago when the owner, Cash, was cooking/serving and they were pretty good. I went yesterday and two different guys were working there. The experience was very bad for three reasons. 1) It took over 35 minutes to get two tacos prepared when there was only one order in front of me 2) the food arrived dangerously under cooked; it was pork and it was raw. In addition, the tortillas were stale and the tacos overall were cold 3) I explained that it was under cooked and no compensations was offered.I will not be returning here. Bad food, bad service and inedible food

I have had two different tacos so far, my favorite was the Gertrude because of the six spice combination. The Lumberjack Special was delicious As Well. I also had an elote, with their special sauce, it had a great spice and was so over the top!! I'll bring my friends next visit for sure!

The Billy Triplett is LEGIT !! I am always leery of trucks that promise on character and under deliver in product. This truck (trailer) is solid with GREAT tacos and corn. The menu warns of the extreme heat on the Billy Triplett, but i wanted a second one after the first. Meats are grilled well and the corn, both styles were rock star outta this world. Thanks for coming to our neighborhood.

Cash catered our party last night and it was amazing. His tacos are the best in the city. What's more, he's a super nice guy and everybody at the party found themselves talking to him. I can't recommend Lumberjack's more.

We discovered this place by complete accident. We were at an offspring concert and these were the only guys that were open towards the end of the show. And all they had left were chicken tacos.. and I couldn't be happier it worked out that way. I've been on the hunt for good chicken tacos in town and this place is the best I've had in a really long time! There's no competition whatsoever. As part of our Taco Tuesday dinner, we stopped by their truck at Boondocks in Old Town. We ordered the Nitro Nate, Benny D with chicken, Pineapple Pete and elotes. Lucky for us, they had something called Christmas Elote which had chipotle crema and cheeto dust. Each taco was spectacular! Benny D was a touch too spicy for my taste but I would order it again.. the flavors were dynamite! Nitro Nate was absolutely fantastic as well and my friend really enjoyed the Pineapple Pete taco as well. Street corn was incredibly flavorful and on point. Most taco places focus on carne asada or pork tacos because they are generally more popular among people. Owing to this fact, chicken tacos always seem like an afterthought at most places.. These guys completely broke the stereotype. They put a lot of heart and love into their food and it is evident with each delicious bite. Boondocks is a 30 second walk from where I live. You know where I'll be for round two of tacos every Tuesday!

Yelp said they were open. I went to the address, and they weren't their. No truck. No tacos. Nothing.
