The vibes in here are soooo cool. I love it. Grunge but clean and different and just yes. It's darker for sure so when we walked out at 2pm it was like walking out of the movie theater. I love the menu. I got the ex-gf! It actually wasn't overpoweringly sweet. When the whipped cream melted, I tasted more of that than anything else though so maybe eat that first lol. But great drink, it definitely got me caffeinated and it wasn't very expensive compared to other coffee shops. Drink came out so fast. The cashier didn't know what gluten was I will say... asked if the whipped cream was okay for me to eat. Which is a definite yes, no gluten in any whipped creams. Would be nice to have staff knowledgeable of allergies more. My friends got the Kyle's favorite and said it was definitely sweet - they were told it was a sweeter one, too. Looked yummy. Will be back!

I think this is the coolest place I've been to in a while. Didn't have time to make a lunch for work so found the first place that had coffee and salads. Happy to say I lucked out! Awesome bar to sit at to get some work done or just hang out. Great selection of food and drinks. I had the curry chicken salad and a latte with coconut milk. Both were great! Love the atmosphere and friendly staff, need to find my way back here soon!

I tried Luanas for the first time a couple days ago. The barista was quite welcoming when I walked in. She helped me with the menu. I ordered the brown sugar latte. I picked it because she said they use a house made syrup. I also ordered a turkey BYO breakfast sandwich. I was disappointed in the latte, I was hoping that it would have been good, but unfortunately it was not. There was no great taste and it somewhat tasted spoiled. And sadly, the sandwich was not good :( When entering the shop, it also had a horrendous smell. Not even sure how to describe it. But work on the smell, and I'd love to come back. The owner is clearly rude and doesn't know how to take criticism.

I love coming here to remote work! The space has all the best music, the menu is extensive no matter your appetite, and the options for libations are so vast! The staff does a great job giving recommendations whenever you need them!

Luana's has been one of my favorite coffee shops since moving to Phoenix a few years ago! I loved going to their old location and was sad when they closed - so happy that they are opened back up again and doing so well. The workers here are always so friendly, and the vibes are great. They have a big menu of drinks - their drinks are mostly one-sized and are pretty generous! I think my favorite might be their chai lattes. Their sandwiches and salads are so good! The portions for the salads are huge. Inside the cafe, the lighting is dim, the bathrooms are fun, and there are various types of seating like couches, counters, tables, etc. The parking lot here at the new location can get pretty full since they tend to be busy. However, I always find a spot. I come here to get work done a lot, and this is not the place for you to do work if you don't like loud music. They have a bar and a lot of people come to just hang out, so it's a pretty loud environment. However, I'm fine with loud noises, so it works out for me. Def recommend!

I called in for a to go breakfast order and my order was ready within 15 minutes. Luanas is located right off Thomas with its own parking lot. It's a nice cozy homey vibe inside it felt like I was walking into my friends parents house in the early 90s lol The customer service was super friendly and I was off with breakfast. The latte was great, not bitter or acidic and a good ratio of oatmilk and flavoring. The Rexfast is buttered rice with Spam topped with over easy eggs. It was demolished as soon as I got home with it. The side of Mac was good but a little heavy on the onion. I'll definitely be stopping in again soon!

Great place to come in the AM for coffee and PM for a beer/cocktail. Thoughtful service, eclectic ambiance, tons of plants, and tasty, well-crafted cocktails. What more could you ask for!?

We keep coming back for their delicious breakfast pizza. Staff has been more friendly, downside is the wait can be awhile to place your order or ask for anything additional like a Togo container. They tend to always be understaffed and it's usually one person running the counter and making coffees. I figured it would change after all this time, but staffing hasn't been any better.

Located in the vibrant heart of Midtown Phoenix, Luana's emanates a cozy charm that draws visitors in from the bustling streets. The atmosphere is eclectic yet inviting, with quirky decor and comfortable seating arrangements that encourage guests to settle in and stay awhile. But it's not just the ambiance that makes Luana's special - the coffee is a true delight. Each cup is expertly brewed, delivering rich flavors and satisfying aromas that linger on the palate. And let's not forget about the pastries - they're consistently mind-blowing. From flaky croissants to decadent muffins, every bite is a testament to the skill and dedication of the bakers behind the counter. What truly sets Luana's apart, however, is the passion of its owners. As locals themselves, they are committed to creating a safe and welcoming space where people can come together to enjoy good coffee and collaborate on their creative endeavors. In conclusion, Luana's in Midtown Phoenix is more than just a coffee shop - it's a haven where cozy charm meets delicious coffee and pastries, all served with a side of local passion and warmth.

I miss when they were at the Historic Anderson house but the new place is fine too. I've only visited the new location twice so I'm not totally familiar with the menu yet. Seems great as a hangout. Most every customer I've encountered here is doing work or studying on a laptop so it can be quiet earlier in the day. Evening hours seem to be more social. I love the unique art and playful layout of the menu. Every aspect of this place will fully immerse you into the cozy-grandma-bachelor pad aesthetic the creator was going for.
