LPs T.A.P House - Lincoln Park

This is such a great spot for drink and food specials with a group!I came here with my two friends on a Saturday around 3:30pm (we made reservations the day before and they had tons of availability). The place totally gets popping later in the night because it was very dead when we came, which is crazy because they have an awesome happy hour deal! From 2-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, all signature cocktails are $8, they have $5 screwdrivers, $20 mimosa towers, pizzas are half off, and more - that's an INCREDIBLE deal in the city especially on a Saturday. I hardly ever see great specials like that on the weekend. This is a good spot for a pregame or casual food & drinks with a group. The restaurant and bar itself is pretty spacious; I think I saw a staircase leading upstairs too but I could be wrong. They have pictures of celebrities with pizzas and tacos all over the walls which is funny. The ambiance here is really your staple, down-to-earth Lincoln Park bar and restaurant. It's not fancy or upscale at all, and definitely has a chill vibe which I liked. Our server was awesome, too! She was so attentive, helpful, and kind. 10/10 service. Hot honey pepperoni pizza - 10/10. DELICIOUS! Truly wouldn't change a thing. It was nice and thin, crispy, hot, and flavorful. Chips & dips:Salsa - 6/10. The salsa was all completely liquid and was hard to scoop with flat tortilla chips. It had a good flavor but I'd use it as an addition to pour over tacos or something instead of dipping chips in it.Guac - 8/10. Very standard - nothing extraordinary, but yummy nonetheless.Queso - 9/10. I wish the dips were bigger sized so we could have more of this gooey queso!Prickly pear long island iced tea - 7.5/10 - we originally had ordered a peach long island iced tea and raspberry long islands but they were out of those two flavors. This was super sweet but kind of sour/tart at the same time. I liked it but would get a different flavor next time.The screwdrivers were good, too, but I feel silly rating a simple orange juice & vodka. It was very standard!I'd totallyyyy come here to make use of their deals again and try other pizzas and menu items!

I think this is the worst experience I have had in a place,first when we walked in the person in front looked at us and didn't say nothing instead walked away. We waited in front, then we set on the bar on our own, waited 15min for a drink. The bartender approached us after 15min and he was super drunk as you could hear it by him talking. It was only 9pm. We ordered nachos and wings, then he came back asking us what we ordered and mentioned something "chips&guacamole" What?!? My friend told him we ordered Nachos and Wings. He gave us really bad service, like we couldn't order second drink because he was busy chitchatting.Then next day I open my bank account and I see a pending transaction more then my check was. Tell me why I thought this would happen so I took a photo of the receipt with the charge. I spoke with the "menager" Robert the next day, and tried to explain him the situation about the service,instead of listening he was extremely arrogant and was making excuses for the bad service I received. I'm working in the industry myself, I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but this places service and management it is horrible.Like I said to you Robert I will dispute my incorrect charge from my bank, you don't have to bother. I will suggest for you to take classes for costumer service&management, because clearly you need a lot of them with your way of handling things. I wonder why the place was empty, definitely not going back.

Great first-time experience tonight! Passed by & loved the atmosphere inside & we were hungry so we decided to check it out.Fun tap house with nice beer & food menu. I know this place advertises their tacos & pizza but I loved the Jack Daniel's Cheddar Burger! I got the slaw on the side which was ok but the fries is where it's at! So crispy! Service was great & our server was helpful in choosing a beer from their menu. They got a decent bar & I wouldn't mind coming back for happy hour. This is a way chiller place to watch the game than the other bars around it which was nice.

I haven't stopped talking about this pizza!!! It was so delicious- the pie had just the right blend of crispy outside with soft but now gooey inside. Every ingredient contributed perfectly to the medley of flavors. The cheese was stringy when you pull out that first piping hot slice but it didn't slide off! The sauce on top was just the right sweet & savory flavor that wet the pizza but didn't overpower it. The price was a fantastic value and I loved that it can offer a restaurant/pub experience for local undergrads who might want somewhere to go hangout after 8pm on the weekend but are barred by other establishments liquor rules. This should be a BlueDemon mainstay and hopefully my Sophomore will be welcomed back with her peers! Our service was fantastic too! The menu listed Goose Island Bear Hug on tap but it wasn't available so she researched an appropriate alternative to suggest for me! Love that!! Total bill of $30 for meal for mom & daughter with 2 pieces (each the size of the one shown here) in a box to go (and single brew for mom) is a Friday night steal!

I wish there was a closer Morettis extension to the city. The food is still good, but the service is now completely trash. No one ever know the special or can fully answer a question. This place is under staffed and seems like all they care about is the party/club space upstairs. The last time I went a server was rude and did not acknowledge anything I said to him or when I came in. Just passed me off to someone else when I was talking too him. I did a very positive review about a year ago, but it's went down hill.

I've wanted to come here for a long time, since I saw it open but unfortunately my friend Mike moved away and so I had no one to go with really. I asked my neighbors if they would go with me and we made loose plans to go but we were banged up from the night before so we did not go. My friend Kelly said he would go w me today after work so now we are here. I texted my neighbors to let them know I was here, but didn't attempt to make plans this time. I might be misremembering the entire "loose" plans thing. So I got here at like 6:25 and Kelly was a little late, which might be a character trait but I'm not going to read too much into it. Just going to post about it publicly. Anyway, I digress.So I got here and was starving so I ordered the Big Mac Tacos. You get two for $9 - they were really good. They are big so two is fine. Not your traditional tacos, literally tasted like a Big Mac. Might actually be healthier for you too than the real thing. Not healthy overall though. Kelly got the Bang Bang fried shrimp tacos and said they were great. I'm going to post a picture of his with this review. I can't take a picture of mine because they are gone.Will probably order more food soon. Really good drink specials too. Want to come back here soon.Maybe my neighbors will come #RoofGangMaybe if Mike moves back I can take him here. He never answers my calls, but I hope he's doing well

Moretti's was a fun find! We took a group of five here for brunch. We have walked by many times and never gone in. It is much more spacious than expected. I would actually love to go back for dinner sometime and see how busy the bar gets. The brunch crowd wasn't super busy, but it is a great spot for groups since there is so much seating. They have bottomless mimosas for twenty bucks. I had two Bellinis that were sweet and tasty. The food was good, pretty much just as we expected. I had the chilaquiles and it was a huge portion. Definitely could have been shared. The breakfast potatoes on the other's plates were also unique and patty-like. Hard to explain, but they were great. Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush.

Food is awesome, prices are very fair, a lot of drink options, a night club upstairs and plenty of tv's to watch the game

Had an excellent brunch at Moretti's over the weekend! We had heard of the joint from our neighborhood Facebook group and finally got around to checking it out.The space is laid out nicely - there are two large bars, plenty of tables, a cozy fireplace and even an event space upstairs for larger groups or...events!Food and service were both amazing. They had a BOGO special running on the entrees and a bottomless mimosas option, too. Highly recommend Moretti's and can't wait to come back for the pizza

Went for brunch this morning and it was great! Chicken and waffles was great! Will definitely be back, especially to catch a Mizzou game. Great food, great service
