Best matcha of San Diego! This cafe is so cute and cozy! I'm super picky about my matcha and this place went beyond my expectations. They even have the good ice here!!ps: u can always tell if the matcha is gonna be good by the shade of green!

Super cutely decorated spot!! The line is definitely long but there's alot of sitting space inside and outside on the sidewalk/patio. They had lots of drink options to choose from and drinks were decent (nothing crazy). The one downside was that their pastries weren't that great--ham and cheese croissant had no ham in it lol. Would come back again if in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to come back!

QUICK TAKE// One of the cutest, clean aesthetically pleasing coffee shops in the heart of vibrant and eclectic north park. Has a good amount of seating, wonderful curb appeal (open air concept), unique and delicious craft caffeine beverages, and is simply beautiful. DRINKS// I got their "FlowerChild" which is a rosemary, lavender, mint, thyme, espresso + milk - wow if you're into fragrant craft coffees, this one was it. I am excited about trying new coffees in the future! I've got my eye on "The Jack Johnson" which has banana, maple, pink salt, coconut chips, espresso + milk!SERVICE// The baristas were so kind and took the time to answer all of my questions/give me their recommendations.VIBES// 100% all vibes. It's one of those quintessential "cute coffee shops" that would come up. Highly recommend!

It's not a trip to San Diego without a coffee at Lovesong. This is my fave go-to spot for craft coffee in San Diego. The energy is always warm and the drinks are exceptional. I highly recommend ordering the Bees Knees or the Salvage Sister. Lovesong's atmosphere is perfect for an AM date or to meet up to yap with a friend or two. Although there can be lines, they tend to move quickly and are well-worth the wait. Lovesong is also a great spot to grab coffee to-go at since it's centrally located around small businesses, bookstores, and the farmers market.

@lovesongcoffee ! All ceremonial grade matcha! I only really had my drink which was the Evergreen Parke, but needless to say, it was fantastic. I think the mint really brings out the fresh matcha flavor and isn't too overpowering. The oat milk is extra and the drink could've been less sweet. The vibes are great with the aesthetic interior and little trinkets you can buy. Be prepared to wait as it can get really busy, but they are really good about trying to get through that line.

Seriously mid when it comes to coffee. Their biggest draw are their "aesthetics" though, a word I often equate to nefarious social media marketing campaigns aimed towards brain dead consumers. The aesthetics are a yawn in person anyway. I would describe them as cheap and tacky especially the soft pastel (crooked) tiles serving as their coffee bar's backdrop, what appeared to be a rather rushed installment. "Seating" is anything but since the 2 level concrete bleacher-like seating with dirty pillows strewn about are uncomfortable to a definite fault. The rickety "tables" -- being the cheap clear plastic pieces of things and shaky wicker tables -- are no where near big or sturdy enough to secure your precious electronics.Their coffee products are what I would describe as "trendy" being that they contain tasteful ingredients on paper but barely a trace of espresso. I had the "Salvage Sister" which sounded grand with additions of caramelized fig and rosemary though I laughed HARD when the barista stopped me from taking my drink to put on much needed "final touches" that were going to be "worth it, promise" to only receive a final product with barely a sprig of rosemary! I cannot understand why there is always a line out the door! There are so many better coffee shops in the area too. DO save yourself the trouble and meander over to a worthier destination.

One of my favorites from my coffee tour of North Park cafes (carefully curated by a friend of mine). Super fast with lots of cute trinkets and goodies. Minimal but happy feeling vibes so you can work remotely and maybe not even complain if you don't have a table yet if you're people watching in the back and hanging out with friends (iykyk). Conveniently located near lots of North Park shops to walk around. Would definitely recommend.

This is a fairly aesthetic coffee shop that's great for dates and small group hangouts. They have a variety of coffee drinks that are a bit more unique compared to the standard latte - think of uses of rosemary, etc in a coffee. I got the Salvage Sister which has caramelized fig, smoked salt, rosemary, espresso and milk, and my friend got the WildChild which has rosemary, lavender, mint, thyme, matcha and milk. Both are good, though the Salvage Sister did not have as much of a prominent flavor profile and just tasted more like an iced latte (as I opted for cold) with a hint of sea salt. The WildChild has more prominent floral flavors and more of my type of drink.Don't forget to check out the restroom!! It's really pretty and great to take bathroom selfies

I think Lovesong has the best lavender matcha ever. It has a great matcha taste w a very nice hint of lavender. Also tried a bit of la roja, which is supposed to be candied ginger, espresso, & milk. There was a very slight hint of ginger, but the taste eventually died down as we drank more of the drink. Love love love the ambiance here, perfect for studying, reading, or catching up with a friend! I also love seeing people bring their dogs here.Cashiers and baristas are always super nice and sweet here :)
