Takoyaki! It's basically fried dough with pieces of octopus in it. Reminds me of a sushi bake.

This place ranks in my top one or two for Thai food in the Boro and the whole of Middle Tennessee and that is saying a lot! The Lao papaya salad with anchovies instead of crab was phenomenal, the Beef in the beef salad was so tender and tasty and the flavor was amazing. The Broth for the pho some of the best I've ever had...such good flavor...This place really surprised me! I thought it would be just ok since it was a sushi/Thai fusion place, but it was late and I felt like some Asian food and saw some good reviews so Decide to try it with my cousin Sunthy who is Lao, and he thought it ranked up there with Pad Thai Cafe

"Love Thai"? I'm not feeling the love.Is the food worth the price? I'm on the fence...however, you couldn't pay me to put up with a rude waitress.I'll preface everything with stating that the food, while a little over priced, was good...so no complaints there. However, a waitress that acts like they don't have the time for you I personally don't have time for in return. After waiting a while for her to even take our drink order (with hardly any customers in the restaurant) she dryly took our order and walked away. From then on she would pick things up and drop things off at the table in silence and wouldn't acknowledge us with anything more than a grunt when we thanked her for what she was doing. Maybe this was an isolated incident and she was just having a bad day but any business that charges these prices can't afford waiters having too many of those "bad days". Ultimately, I would recommend going elsewhere if you want Thai food...there are too many other less expensive options, with just as good food, if not better, food, close by where the wait staff actually pretends you exist.

I dined at Love Thai Sushi restaurant on Monday, July 3, 2023, at 5 p.m. Despite it being a Monday, the restaurant was quite busy. We had to wait for approximately 15 minutes before being seated at a table. The server staff provided us with menus and took our drink orders. However, they didn't return to take our food order until 20 minutes later, and by that time, our drinks hadn't even arrived yet.Love Thai Sushi offered a variety of traditional Thai dishes and sushi. We ordered several dishes, including pad see ew, papaya salad, wings, fried rice and steamed dumplings. The pad see ew was very saucy and slightly salty. The papaya salad had a good balance of flavors and the right level of spiciness. The fried wings, which came in five pieces with a sweet and sour sauce, seemed to use a bottled sauce that was too liquid and diluted. The wings themselves were dry and hard to eat. The steamed dumplings, filled with pork, were rich and meaty and paired well with the sweet soy sauce. The fried rice is probably the highlight dish out of all. It is stir-fried with soy sauce, egg, and a choice of protein. It is delicious, offering the right flavor and texture. However, the sushi was disappointing, as it had an excessive amount of rice and thinly sliced fish, and it didn't seem worth the price.Overall, Love Thai Sushi is not a bad Thai restaurant. However, in my opinion, the portion sizes are small, and the prices are high. The service is lacking, and the restaurant, despite being around for awhile, seems somewhat unorganized and understaffed.

My family and I ate here as we love sushi along with thai food. We got several rolls along with papaya salad(thai style) and pho beef. All of which tasted great and service was prompt. They are working on getting alcohol at this location so be aware they might not have it when you come. Looked to be going to set up to have Boba as well which is great. I'll def come back here.

I dined at Love Thai Sushi on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 6 pm. First impressions, the interior of the restaurant looked drastically cleaner and up to date compared to the other sister location in Christiana. I did notice the food quality to be just about the same however. Food:The steamed wontons tasted flavorful and had a nicely seasoned filling. My only criticism is that I wish the dipping soy sauce was served on the side instead of on the plate so it's a more cleaner presentation and people can regulate how much soy sauce they like on their wontons. The papaya salad tasted good. However, I don't think it should be served in a pool of liquid so the papaya can remain fresh and crunchy instead of soggy. The fried chicken was cooked nicely, but slightly under seasoned; a very generic appetizer for any fried chicken lovers. The sausage was good - tasted like any Laos sausage I would expect from any Thai restaurant. Fried rice was very flavorful overall, but the pork was very under seasoned. The dancing tuna sushi was good - very nice presentation, and tasted fresh. Service was very attentive. The staff were very friendly and even gave my young cousin a free pair of kids chopsticks. The chef even came out to introduce himself. Waters were refilled regularly. Overall, a nice Thai/sushi restaurant featuring good tasting food that could use some minor improvements with excellent service. I will be sure to return.

If you want pho go elsewhere, I ordered the spice level of 5. The spice level was a -5. Also the taste of the pho was below average. They didn't even give me chopsticks for the sushi on a to go order.

Got to try this place last Saturday during lunch. The service was great and so was the food. I highly recommend their iced Thai tea, sushi and the pho. It's actually interesting but they have two kinds of pho here. They have the usual pho with beef, chicken, etc but they also have a tom yum based broth pho. My sis ordered the tom yum pho and it was surprisingly good. What a good fusion and twist to the pho we already know and love. We'll definitely be back. I thought the pho was definitely top tier for the boro considering we don't have very good pho options here.

I've been to the new location twice, and the food is just as incredible as their Christiana location. The flavors in what they serve don't need additional spice or seasoning, unless you want more heat. The BEST Tom Kha and Noodle soups around!!!

I ordered to go and they said 15 minutes I arrived on time and had to wait another 20 minute for my food they never checked on me. I had to say something. Then on the drive home I noticed the soup was leaking out of the bag and all over my car. When I pulled over and said I need a refund and I have pictures of what happened they said I needed to bring the food back for a refund! Well guys I guess you could come vacuum it out of my seat! I almost got in an accident because of this! You should have been apologetic and instead were horrible. Shame on you.
