Zombie Taco

This incognito taco spot is located inside of the stylish and fun Moxy hotel in downtown Louisville. You can order from a kiosk and they will send you a text when your tacos are ready. It is fairly quick and you can definitely spend your wait playing one of their many games (taught my son how to play Pac-Man) or chatting it up with your friends or the bartenders at the bar. I love how flavorful the tacos are! One of my favorite taco spots in the city when downtown. Highly recommend!

This place is located in a hotel lobby which was interesting but I felt like all the decor and design made it feel less like a hotel lobby area. My husband and I sat at the bar, ordered a few drinks and some dinner. He got the blood orange margarita and I got blush bliss drink I think it was called. Both drinks were delicious, fairly spirit heavy. We shared the brisket taquitos, and 3 tacos (brisket, carnitas, and fish). The taquitos were very good, the outside was crispy and the sauce was great. The brisket and carnitas tacos were our favorite, we did not particularly care for the fish as the fish was a little soggy since it was fried. We didn't get pictures of the food since it comes out in a to-go bag, tacos and taquitos, all individually wrapped and marked. The service was great, there was a few people making drinks and taking orders. The bartenders were all very friendly and attentive.

Came here with friends before a U of L game . Paloma was good! Food menu was super super limited. And very pricey I got a burrito that was decent but was $15!!

Good but not great. Service was super friendly and fast. Decent choice of a few local beers. Easy access location to the Yum Center. If not attending a show, I'd probably skip it.

This was my lunch stop. I was craving tacos so I stopped at zombie taco. 3 tacos 14 dollars and a local IPA. This is located under the bridge by KFC YUM center. The tacos were different with plenty of flavor only negative is the presentation I was hoping to look at the on a taco tray but like I said plenty of flavor different taste nothing normal or boring I liked it for that alone so 4 stars!!!

Zombie Taco is the place to go for cheap delicious food if you're in Downtown Louisville. It's in a hotel lobby bar but the place is huge, they have indoor and outdoor seating for when it's warmer outside. They have a fireplace inside and lots of nooks and crannies to sit in while you wait for your food or eat. The service is all à la carte, you can order online or in the lobby via their touch screen menus. You don't have to wait long before your order is up, hot and ready! The bar itself is an expensive so I can't recommend that one but definitely get the tacos, burritos or nachos! You can't go wrong with any or all of those!

Great fresh flavors in both the tacos and burrito I tried. Highly enjoy the moody atmosphere with plenty of games to keep you occupied with friends.

Late night trip for some tacos. ZT was a cool experience with a colorful interior. Between the music and the games you can forget about your food. There are plenty of sitting areas and the touch less pay system is a great convenience. We played Late Night Family Feud and laughed all night. The tacos are too small for my liking but flavorful. You do get three (guacamole, salsa, queso) with your bag of nachos. The joint is located within a hotel and the gym is close to the restrooms so don't be surprised to see people walk by with workout gear on. The place was great but the portion size was a the only downside for the price.

I'll update this if I ever get to try the food but for now, 1 star for closing the kitchen (ran out of half the menu items a few minutes ago) ahead of closing time. Well, I guess some other restaurant deserves my patronage more tonight.

This place is really cool, tacos are delicious and nothing tastes better once you've been out all night than a few delicious tacos from this place.
