Highly recommend! We've had their pizza a few times and love it! On this last visit, I ordered the pickle and the Cubano pizzas both on their cauliflower crust. They were so delicious!!! The crust was so good! I love a cauliflower crust because it doesn't fill you up as much as the regular pizza dough/crust. We started with the garlic cheese curds which were also delicious. They have canned and bottled sodas/iced tea along with a nice selection of beer. The service has been excellent each time we've come. Highly recommend!!

We recently moved to Evansville, Indiana from Southern California and found Yard Goat because of the Huntingburg Christmas Walk. Taylor, our waitress, made us feel welcomed and took great care of us. My girlfriend has dietary restrictions, so we were surprised to find a cauliflower crust option for the pizzas. We ordered the "Pig Jamboree" pizza (with the aforementioned cauliflower crust) and a charcuterie board, an Irish Red, porter, and a mango sour. Everything was delicious! Yard Goat would be at home in San Diego, Orange County, or LA. We'll be back!

Had the pleasure of stumbling across this place during a recent road trip and I'm so glad we stopped. The interior was nice, with plenty of tables and some bar seating. We decided to grab a couple of seats at the bar so we could get a good view of their tap list and get a feel for the place. My wife and I were both pleased to find very attentive and friendly staff, they took the time to talk about their beers and explain them at length. We each tried a flight and each of their beers was really nice. I really liked their milk stout, Mad Cow and my wife liked all of their sours. When it comes to food their menu offers a charcuterie board for 2 or 4 and a nice selection of pizzas. We went with the charcuterie for 2 which was very enjoyable. Next time we will have to get a pizza, they looked really good. Everything was great, we only wish we had more time to try more of their beers! We will definitely be back.

Southern Indiana contains a treasure trove of cozy, well-preserved small towns. You'll see many billboards for these towns while on the interstate, and Huntingburg is one of the most enjoyable options; its downtown really is a terrific slice of "Main Street USA" culture. From Halloween 2020 onward, it's also been bolstered by a more modern ace in the hole: Yard Goat Ales, a low-key essential for craft beer aficionados in the region. This is a jaw-dropper of a brewery that would deserve attention anywhere, whether in a smaller community like Huntingburg or a full-scale metropolis. They're remarkably versatile but I'm especially fond of their darker beers, such as their decadent stouts and the sensational Brickstreet Brown Ale. That having been said, their lighter offerings are also top-notch. The word "Lemongrass" can be an instant turn-off to some but trust me, the Laki Lemongrass Blonde - one of Yard Goat's staples - is a real contender for the top of its class. Yard Goat also has artisan pizzas and a few appetizer items on deck. I unfortunately haven't had the chance to try their pizza, but their beer cheese is phenomenal and getting some with their jumbo pretzel is easy on the wallet. The taproom itself is straightforward but classy, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming; Hoosier Hospitality ain't dead yet. This brewery is a joy to visit and you're likely to find at least one beer that will floor you. It's not the kind of brewery (or town) that one would ordinarily stumble upon, but few detours off I-64 are more worthwhile than this.
