Yancey's Gastropub & Brewery

My daughter and I drove from Indiana to Tennessee to pick up our new doggie. On the way home, in Glasgow, KY, all three of needed a rest. I stopped in town on the courthouse square and we took a walk. We found Yancey's and asked if they allowed dogs, they have outdoor seating, we walked through the pub and went outside. How lucky to find a dog friendly place with great food, great atmosphere and friendly service!I had a burger, my daughter had a hot dog and our new doggie got to try their homemade dog treats. We took a pretty long break and enjoyed the place. I hope to get back there someday

Super cool atmosphere and decorated really neat for the holidays. The staff was very friendly and recommended some of the best food. Although I'm sad I forgot pictures of our food (we scarfed it as we hiked all day and hadn't eaten) I promise it was awesome! My husband had the Hansen burger, burger with chili and pub cheese, INCREDIBLE. He's nice and we share :) I had the French dip. Packed with thin sliced beef, cheese, onions and peppers, pretty good!! The only thing I did snap a picture of was their cocktail of the day "Naughty But Nice" because the sprinkles were festive and it made me happy! I would eat here often if I was a local. And when we left we were given a beer mug, we offered to pay, but they are changing their logo soon. I would go back just for friendly staff! Give it a try if you haven't!

The food this time around was incredible. The new chef really made a difference. Our server was attentive and gave the recommendation for the Ruben. We loved that the music wasn't too loud in a Monday night and we could still have a conversation without screaming. Very chill atmosphere.

My food and beer were both good. Treva night and we got there late. Service was good not the best. Girlfriend got a sandwich and it was cold. Prices were a bit high. We were passing through to mammoth cave and saw this brewery advertised. I enjoyed it but it wasn't the best place I've been.

We had been in town for a little while and thought hey why not try this place. The menu was a little small just burgers, fish tacos on Fridays, small plates like grilled cheese and hot dogs. No kids menu but we made do with what was offered. The inside was really cute and the staff was super nice. Service was fast only because we literally walked in as soon as they opened at 5pm but others after us said they had been waiting for a while. The drink menu was great with bourbon tastings and beer tastings was a great added bonus! We would go back maybe if we are in town. The fries where super salty and the burgers where nothing to brag about.

My husband said the beer was pretty good. I got six raw chicken wings and a strawberry salad. The salad was adequate. The chicken wings, I didn't eat. Husband ordered burger and onion rings yet got burger and waffle fries. He said that's ok I'll eat. Total bill $56 and the server added on a 25 percent tip for herself and then said oops it's my first day, which we didn't believe. We left 20 percent, which was overly generous considering everything. When time came for the receipt, the server slipped out the back of the pub. We'll be watching the credit card closely. They were not busy as it was like 2 p.m. on a Saturday. I can't imagine what it'd be like when they're busy. We will not go back. My advice? Don't eat there. If all you want is a beer, go for it.

My wife and I just had a light dinner at this restaurant a few minutes ago and it was pretty darn good. You can see in the pictures and the menu what we had. We had the bruschetta and also had the Cobb salad. We also ordered two margaritas, on the rocks with salt on the rim. The bruschetta was really really done well and the Cobb salad, which my wife always orders chopped and tossed, was up to her standards also! ...The service was honest and friendly and welcoming by both our server and the hostess. The downside were the margaritas. But I do have to explain that we are from Southern California and we have been weaned on excellent margaritas and it's hard to find good margaritas in the South as well as the East and also the Midwest. The price point was pretty good for the quality and quantity of food that we received. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant because of its service, comfortable seating, and the food! Oh, also, I put the date of our visit on the menu in the pictures so you know how old the menu is when you look at this review. We looked at a few reviews before we came to this restaurant and the menu on Yelp, which was eight months old, was out of date so we had to order some different food, but that was OK because it was really really good!

What a great place to grab lunch!! I had the chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips and sweet tea. So nice In here with TVs and full bar! Waitresses are top notch and cool temp is great seeing it's 80 outside!! Will be back soon

Great selection of house brewed beers, and the food portion was big enough for me to take home leftovers for a second meal! Sat at the bar and service was great.

Very good food. Great portions. Only ordered through door dash so can't speak to the restaurant but the food was divine.
