This restaurant is an example of why I love Yelp so much. On the outside this restaurant is easy to pass by. Even if you venture in to the market you may not consider dining there. However a 5 star review encouraged us to give it a try. I am beyond thrilled that we did! Everyone orders their food at the register in the small market. They do a tremendous amount of take out business. The phone was ringing off the hook for take out orders. We ordered a few items to see what all of the fuss is about. They have a lot of pictures on the wall of the sushi they serve. We decided on a volcano roll. It was made to order and it was delicious. We ordered 6 pork dumplings. They were light and crispy on the outside and the pork on the inside was very flavorful. As one of the entrees we chose Pancit. We learned later that it is there #1 item ordered. It is a nice portion of rice noodles, cabbage, carrots, green beans, in a very light sauce. You can choose Chicken or shrimp. We chose chicken. It is in small pieces and fits perfectly with the julienned veggies and the thin rice noodles. We also ordered the special of the day which was Marinated Beef. It came in a bowl with a dark beef broth and onions. There was a side office to go with it. The beef felt like it was melting in your mouth. Absolutely delicious! We poured some of the rice into the bowl to soak up some of the broth. You didn't want to miss a drop. Here we thought we had ordered a lot of food and would have leftovers but we cleaned every plate. It was that good. I wish I lived closer because I would eat here a lot. Yum!

This place is a slice of home for me. They serve up all my favorites all throughout the week and they also offer sushi classes. Always friendly and very knowledgeable of their product as well...this place is not only an off the chain food joint. It also has a market right beside it of which you can shop for snacks or key ingredients to that new indian, asian, or whatever recipe you're trying. If you haven't explored this place and you live in Vincennes, it's a must! If you're gluten free or vegetarian..just let them know and they will be more than happy to make arrangments.

Friendly staff. Affordable prices. Delicious food with variety. Hidden gem. Pancit very good. Okonomiyaki enough to feed two people and super good. Bring a friend and relax as you are welcomed into the home kitchen at World Cuisine.

All the dishes here are good. Made to order. My favorite is the Thai sushi roll. Best sushi around.

Only one word is needed to describe the food here, delicious! Had the chicken pancit, and it felt like a home cooked meal. It's great to find an Asian restaurant that does traditional fare. I will be returning in the near future.

They don't know how to fix Japanese food. Okonkmi-yaki was terrible. I don't recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Would never have known of this restaurant if not for yelp! Was in Vincennes for business and looking for a place for lunch besides fast food and pubs. Wasn't so sure about it from the outside, but once we stepped inside, we knew it would be great just by the delicious smells coming from the kitchen! Menu had good variety, food was awesome! Restaurant is small and Owner and workers were so friendly. We had chicken pad Thai and something I've never heard of or tried before- shrimp Pancit. It was a noodle dish with veggies, lots of small shrimp and a delicious sauce. They even customize the heat of the sauce per request! It was so good I cleaned my plate!! I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return if I ever go through Vincennes again!

Excellent food! We had miso soup, several different rolls, teriyaki chicken, and the pad thai. The bubble tea was fun. Don't let the adjoining market keep you from coming in and getting something to eat. We grabbed several things at the market afterwards that we haven't seen in a store since we left a much larger city. We'll be back for sure.

It holds true...Never judge a book by it's cover. The decor is a bit dated of the restaurant...but...Very good food! The staff is so pleasant.
