Lots of options for cider lovers if you need something different than the bourbon trail. Large space, inside and out. Only bummer outside is that the wasps love cider, too! My daughter and I shared a 3-taster flight since we were stopping in a road trip. We tried the pomme pomme, the royal red, and the browning orchard. The browning orchard was my least favorite. I preferred the semi-sweet pomme pomme. If we'd had more time, I definitely would have sampled more. Service was efficient.

Great spot to enjoy with friends. I had a cider flight including the cherry and rose. Lots of seating options including some comfy couches and chairs in the corner and patio. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Since my wife and I are avid "Birders" we had to check this place out with a name like Wise Bird. Located in the Pepper Distillery District, a small family run business that believes apples make great ciders. My wife is gluten free and cider is what she generally drinks. She had the Pomme Pomme Sangria that had notes of baked apple and vanilla. Nothing great but still refreshing.I am not a cider lover I ordered a beer. I was surprised how reluctant the server was and kept pushing me to try "their " cider which is unlike any other. I did and still wanted a beer. She finally handed me a can of Ol Buddy Lager not even asking if I wanted a glass. You pay at the bar and sit wherever you like. There is no music or any kind of atmosphere inside that made us want to stay. There are many other places in the area that I wish I would have chosen over Wise Bird.

I scoped out the businesses in the Distillery District to see if I wanted to check any of e before the show I was attending at The Burl (across the street). Of the several breweries and distillery, this cidery piqued my interest.A historic rickhouse (place you age bourbon), the space has an airy, industrial feel. You order at the bar and can either sit there or take your drinks to a nearby table or outside space. Traveling solo, I sat at the bar and chatted with the bartenders who were very friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. They were out of mulled cider which was a let down for so early (7:30 pm) on a cold, rainy night. So I went with the Somethin' Sweet flight for $12. I enjoyed trying out the four offerings and liked all but the seasonal sangria. The cran-apple-ness wasn't my thing.Plenty of parking (except on a sold out site night at a The Burl) and close access to several other places to eat and drink. I'll definitely return to check out a few of their neighbors and have some more of their delicious product!

Wise Bird Cider is a go-to for a delicious beer alternative. Always friendly staff, and the crisp taste of cider makes me enjoy spring so much more! Great patio area too!

Walked here in terrible weather only to find out they're closed (I think?). There's two signs on the door with different opening hours, and the hours from there vary to both Yelp and Google... When I tried to open the door, three people inside just stared at me. So I guess they're closed? Really wish someone could've had the courage to come apologize to me and tell me they're closed. Even better, update your hours so people don't waste their time.

Love the atmosphere of this cute cidery. Also as someone that is gluten free, it's nice to have a cidery that I can go to that's local! Definitely recommend.

Good place for cider. They use Buffalo Trace Distillery barrels to age some of their ciders. The aged Rose is tasty and 10%! That's some strong cider. The server Ryan was very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and inviting.

Interesting concept with the food truck parked outside. I love this area, I wish I lived in KY, because I'd visit here all the time. There is so much to do and different places to eat at. The food was very good, especially the fries. The sauce on the burger was a bit much, it's a large portion for a small burger so you probably need to adjust based on your taste. I'm not a huge fan of a can of coke for the drink, but it is what it is. I assume they just want everyone to drink their Cider. It's a good family atmosphere and worth it to check out.

Y'all. Listen, I have spent YEARS in the service industry, lived all over the east side of this country and traveled the world, and let me tell you, this place *knows* how to not only make a DELICIOUS high quality product, but honestly even more than that THEY KNOW HOW TO GRACIOUSLY TREAT THE FOLKS WHO GIVE THEM MONEY. This little thing called excellent customer service is sadly a *rare* and precious gift these days. And for a place to be nailing it at both? Well, that's gold, baby.Update: specifically Heather and Tim are absolute gems.
