By and large, Logan Street Market's businesses cater to the daytime crowd. Wild Hops Brewery is the main attraction after dark, and while it's not the only evening vendor in the building, it's certainly capable of carrying the place on its own. This isn't just the token bar that every market like this must have; it's a full-fledged and deeply enjoyable brewery that can stand with the best of 'em.IPA fans will feel especially blessed here. Wild Hops' Spruce Tip IPA is a serious contender for the best non-cyclical beer in the Louisville Metro. Always available and always brilliant, this IPA is surprisingly malty and honeyed, resulting in a flavor that's strikingly full-bodied instead of overly sweet or botanical. Simply put: I adore this thing. Wild Hops frequently supplements the Spruce Tip with small batch pale ales, and I was really impressed with the session-strength Inner Circle and skillfully smooth X Paradisi. If you recoil at IPAs, Wild Hops still has you covered. There aren't a ton of active taps but some nice variety is on deck, including the Lady of the Night stout and the Happy Diego Mexican lager. The latter is less crispy and more floral than I expected from a Mexican lager, but I quite enjoyed it all the same! And if you don't want to stick strictly to beer, the spirits selection is nothing to scoff at, especially as far as bourbon is concerned. Frankly, it's difficult to imagine Logan Street Market without Wild Hops. It's a really appealing cornerstone for the whole complex, and as much as I enjoy the food and pinball under this roof, their beer is ultimately the highlight of each visit.

I don't know how I have not managed to review this place as many times as I have been over the years for Books and Brews and Louisville Ale Trail. Those are really the only times I come here other than if I'm venturing to Logan Street Market, which I don't venture to very often. They have a bar area you can sit at and if you're ordering food from one of the other places inside the market, you can eat it there as well. I have done that in the past but, not recently. They have a beer and cocktail menu. I have had their beers and had some good ones but, I had a really good cocktail that someone recommended, it was a strawberry flavored like one, I forget the name. This is the first time I have had any of their cocktails. This place is worth a stop if you're inside Logan Street Market. I know I stop here if I'm in.

Love stopping in for a beer or a cocktail before perusing around Logan Street Market. It's also nice to enjoy the food we ordered at the bartop. The staff are always really friendly, but usually pretty busy - so order what you need when you've got their attention!Last time we got a beer here, and another time before, the beer was super flat. Not carbonated, syrupy - basically undrinkable. I couldn't finish my beer. It's kind of crazy that they'd serve something that bad, but maybe no one did a quality control check on it. Next time, I'll keep an eye out for which beers are coming out of the tap with foam and get one of those. This doesn't happen often, so I'm sure they're on it already.

While I've been to Logan Street Market since its opening this weekend was my first pit stop at Wild Hops. The bar spans the backside of the market and pre-Covid it offered stools so you could enjoy your drink and then another. Currently it's a take and go, but the lounge is right next door. While beer is the focus of Wild Hops namesake they keep a full bar that includes wine and mixed cocktails. (A bit of competition for the Breeze Bar.) My husband and I got the Blueberry Mule with Four Roses bourbon. Both flavors were distinct and yet blended midway during the sip. Refreshing - I'd order again, and haven't spotted this offering elsewhere. If you're in the mood for a cocktail this is the spot I'd recommend at Logan Street Market.

Great spot for a drink at The Logan Street Market. Really enjoyed the 'A Long Time Common' amber Craft beer. It only cost $4 too.

I love Wild Hops Brewery! I am lucky to live next door to Logan Street Market, and I love having this brewery and bar next door. It's so great to be able to walk over to this community space and have access to draft, bottled, and canned beer, as well as a fully stocked bar for cocktails. The staff is always great, and ready to offer a recommendation if you need it. Just tell them what you like and they're there for you! If you're in the area and looking to grab a drink, I highly recommend checking out Wild Hops. Plus, added bonus, it's in Logan Street Market so you can check out some other spots while you're there!

One of the great joys of an urban lifestyle is the draw of communal spaces -- livable, walkable places where you run into friends and see familiar faces. Logan Street Market has quickly shown that ability to serve that role for the near-downtown neighborhoods in Louisville, and while Wild Hops has yet to crush a single grain on site, they have already done the important work, carving out a bright, approachable, family-friendly space where you can share a drink or get something to pair with food, the polar opposite of the dark and smoke-filled beer bars I mostly experienced when I was younger. They have a very thoughtful selection of drafts and beers to-go. And Maggie is already canning some beautiful collabs with other local breweries. At the time of this writing, the COVID pandemic is threatening beautiful spaces like these, and they are getting shut down in the interest of the greater public health. The foremost concern (besides the obvious) is the threat to the livelihood of our neighbors who rely on these businesses. But a tragic and frightening time can also highlight our collective need and appreciation for public spaces and friendly places. Think about that the next time you sit here with your beer, seeing the families walking by, sharing a mug and a hug (and hopefully not a bad bug).

Located in Logan Street Market, Wild Hops is a nice, relaxing bar. Lots of different seating options. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend the Spruce IPA. The Kolsch was really good too.

Stopped in midday to enjoy a beer. Nice, casual, brewery/bar at the north end of Logan Street Market. Had a fine stout. Nice service. Was able to enjoy food at the bar from one of the other vendors in the market. That's an inviting aspect if with a larger group with varying tastes.
