Weather Oar Knot "The Knot"

This is a nice place on Gunpowder Creek, off of the Ohio River - it used to be called Trixie's. If you are traveling by boat, there is a sign on the main river, but it's across from the Patriot Gravel Pit. The restaurant and bar are separate, so you can eat food in the bar, but you have to go to the restaurant to order it (you can't order food in the bar or alcohol in the restaurant).The food is good, we'll boat over to get take out sometimes. They have bands on thee weekends (and usually on Sundays too) in the summer.They are only open seasonally, but the marina/boat shop is open year round.Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. They have boat parking and fuel, but most of the docks are rented. We've always been able to find a slip to park in, but i wouldn't say there is 'ample' parking.

Love, love,love! I really do t want to give this place a great review because I don't want it to be crowded next time I go!we both had a burger and it was amazing! Service was remarkable and it feels like your on vacation here!

I never write reviews but this place was not good. The brisket looked like shoe leather, the pulled pork seemed as if it was cooked 5 days ago and rewarmed several times and the pulled chicken...yuck! The GOAT pizza was actually good. Avoid anything smoked and get the pizza.

Above average bar and grill food. Sprawling fish shack bar atmosphere. Good beer selection. Accessible from the Ohio river with a dock for boaters.
