Waco Food Mart

We stopped in today for lunch. I had the open faced roast beef sandwich with green beans and my wife had the cheeseburger and French fries. Both were excellent! The roast beef was a traditional open face with mashed potatoes. Cheeseburger was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. We will return again and again.

First review?! WOW ok, so this a gas station with deli type spot inside. Don't judge me. Anyway, the have the best home cooked food!! I can't speak on everything because I always get the cheeseburger which is out of this world! But, they will/can make just about anything you might be craving whether it's hot or cold sandwiches, salads, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc. etc. My husband always gets a steak hoagie that he absolutely loves. Now, it's all made to order so it will take a few minutes to get your food but it is well well worth waiting for. It's also super cheap for what you get. Between the two of us we get burger, hoagie, 2 orders of fries and 2 large drinks for right about 17 bucks. You can't beat it!!

Finest cuisine available for miles, in the Waco area. Crispy fried chicken, potato wedges, mashed potatoes and gravy, special event canned vegetables, and occasionally chili. Breakfast is sublime, best fried eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and sausage. All served on Styrofoam or plastic plates, you can't beat it. Don't forget you can get gas while you're waiting on your food!
