W XYZ Bar

We had such a good time at the Aloft hotel. I know... who would have thought! It was Friday night and they had a live band playing. The band was amazing. Seriously some of the best live music I've heard. (Zach Longoria Project - look them up). We ordered some drink and really enjoyed our night. The service was good. The atmosphere was awesome. It felt like a trendy lounge. The drinks were good - not great. I like the drinks at the downtown location better. Their cocktail menu is a little more unique. The bar tender did mention that they were about to change Up their menu. I guess that means we'll just have to go back! This is a fun place if you're looking for a chill evening.

What a fun place. It's quite a happening. It seems the later it gets the more lively it becomes. The band playing tonight was fun!

We had a "staycation" at Aloft Louisville East. The WXYZ bar was amazing and was our favorite part of the trip. The bar is stocked with a huge variety. The bartender was friendly and provided great conversation and beverages. He was creative and made us original drinks he thought we would enjoy based on our input and we LOVED them. His presence and friendliness reminded me of an bartender you would expect to find years ago. He cared about his customers and seemed to honesty enjoy chatting with us for a couple hours. I've never met a bartender as friendly has he was. The space is very modern with beautiful lighting. You can sit at the bar or on the couches around the bar. The bartender waited on us when we first sat down on a couch before we even planned to get a drink. We hope to return soon!
