W Bar Bistro

The happy hour was legit!! $3 beers $12 huge double smash burger with high end beef and a side. This is on the rotation for sure. The staff was great. Same owners as Ivory House and you can tell they care about the location.

I don't get over to the west side of town alot but I am trying to improve that My friends decided on this adorable place It has a bistro vibe and a big bar in the middle of the restaurant My friend said they have changed the menu to add a lot of Mexican items I did order the mission burrito with beef and guacamole The beef was so well seasoned and the guacamole fresh so good My friends ordered fish and chips and the smash burger All very goodThe best surprise we got a free sundae or milkshake from Aubrey Jacks which is part of the restaurant It was amazing

Dining room was cold and noisy. Dinner entrees and sandwiches are in the $15 to $25 range. Fish and chips entree: the moderate size portion of fish was tasty, although with a very heavy batter breading. It was served atop a ridiculously large pile of french fries which I had to remove from the plate in order to eat the fish. These were standard, cheap, food service fries which came out barely warm. Fish, fries and water including 20% tip came to $24. Food from Long John Silver's would be comparable at less than half the price. I'd say W has gone downhill in most respects since it opened.

I've been for brunch and dinner now and honestly, after seeing the full dinner menu I'm excited to go back. A lot of variety, from several "different" establishments all in one location. It has had quite the upgrade since Henke (RIP) and the place looks great, but still has excellent food and fantastic service.

I came to the W Bar + Bistro several months ago. It's a great restaurant on the Westside of Cincinnati. There was plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant. The appropriate attire would be business casual. The decor is cute. There's a nice bar area with ample seating. I came with a group of 8 for dinner. The dinner selections were sufficient. Some people at the table ordered the Chicken Alfredo, the Fish and Chips, and someone ordered the Vegan Chicken Club with Fries. I didn't want to be annoying and take pictures of everybody's food. LOL But, everyone said that they enjoyed their food. I ordered the Short Rib Risotto which was flavourful and cooked to perfection. I got the house salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette. It was good. I skipped out on dessert, but I had a glass of house wine, which was pretty good. The servers were attentive and worked together to make sure that everyone had what they needed. With so many great restaurants to try in Cincinnati, I would have to say that this deserves a try if you find yourself on the Westside.

I almost went with a three-star review, but the place is so cute. I had to give an extra star for ambience.Our waitress was nice and knowledgeable.We ended up with fish and chips and a burger. We also got a side mac and cheese. The fish and chips were good. The burger was good. The fries were very good. The mac and cheese was a huge disappointment. We had high hopes, but the mac and cheese was bland. It sounded fantastic, but it was not special. I recommend a pass on this.Aside from the miss on the mac and cheese, everything else was tasty and satisfying. We'd come back.

My wife & I had a wonderful Saturday morning brunch (and we loved the Mimosa prices!)

Service was wonderful!! I love the space. The menu is pricey for what it is, but the portions are huge. I loved the Asian salad (I added salmon) and my husband liked the chicken tenders. However- they are more like fried chicken breasts. He also was not a fan of the buffalo sauce. We liked the quaint bar area. We'd come back for specials or if portions sizes were smaller and in turn, the prices were lowered.

Bad service, mediocre food, dirty restroom. Blech.We should have just ran through McDonald's, but it's West side, and I left my gun at home.

I went for brunch after we made a reservation. When we arrived we entered by the bar area. No one greeted us even though there was a bartender working. I walked all around the restaurant to find someone to check in with and no one was there so we just ended up sitting at the bar. A few minutes after sitting down the bartender finally greeted us. We got food and drinks - both were subpar. My sandwich was ok but I could get the same thing elsewhere. My croutons on my side salad were totally charred. There was an obnoxious drunk guy sitting at the bar that would not stop talking to us and the bartender could have cared less. I also overheard some of the employees (where were they during our arrival??) complaining about working brunch service. I live locally and have been here three times now and wanted to support but I'm done giving them chances. We've had issues with service before. Three strikes you're out. I will not be back.
