Victor Mathis Florist

I have used this local florist since 2000. They have done big jobs (mother in laws funeral) to small bouquets and I have NEVER been disappointed. Even when I send things out of town people comment on how beautiful our flowers are. As a family separated by miles and. ESP now, not able to be there this means soooo much. Thank you Victor Mathis for helping our care and love!

I was raised in the west End and my parents always used Mathis ! I've been in California for over 40 years and I've always used Mathis to send birthday flowers and every occasion! The best always and top quality flowers and arrangements and never been disappointed thank you Mathis !

Victor Mathis Florist is an excellent locally owned, family operated florist. They are in the 4th generation of professional florists serving Louisville and surrounding areas since 1896. I had used another local florist for several years but have recently switched the Mathis and can honestly say they do a far better job for the price than my previous florist. I have, unfortunately, had the need for several funeral arrangements and was totally amazed at the arrangements. They were exactly what I ordered and were GORGEOUS!!! The person taking my orders was alway very helpful and left the phone to check to see if they had what I requested. I will never use any other florist. Keep up the great service Mathis florist.

The first arrangement was delivered half dead after spending all day in a plastic bag. Then when the replacement order was delivered the driver was rude. Four days later all the flowers are dead. I have kept the same flowers alive for two weeks. Never again from here.

My cousin, who is like a sister, lost her husband 20 years ago. I ordered a poinsettia to be sent to her, and her daughter, in Lakeland FL. They were to be delivered on 12/5. They were not delivered. I waited most of the day 12/6 (the actual anniversary). At around 4:30 I called to inquire what happened. After 15 minutes on the phone, and talking to three different people I was told "we tried 3 different florists and no one could fill the order. The third one wanted a $50 delivery fee. We had to wait for that order 'to come back' before we could order from someone else". WHAT???? So its now a day late, you still don't have an answer, I haven't been notified about any of this, and my heartfelt surprise for my closest family members was ruined. I wasn't offered a replacement. I wasn't offered a discount. They apologized, but too bad. I have ordered MANY times from Victor Mathis, but this was my last time!

I've always have had great service from them, beautiful arrangements and at great prices.

I live in Arizona and needed flowers for a rehearsal dinner we were hosting in Louisville. I chose Victor Mathis based on the yelp reviews. I spoke with John Mathis and he was very helpful in placing the order. The flower arrangements were fresh, beautiful and delivered on time. There were nine centerpieces, very reasonably priced and only a $10 delivery fee. Thank you for the great service!!

I live in Florida and my Dearest Friends son passed away and the services were in Louisville. I am so pleased I happened to pick Mathis Florist, the Gentleman who spoke with me was just that a real Gentleman and the plant was Beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend them
