There is a white male, 6''2, 50ish, heavily accented Scottish customer named Keith that hovers around the property smoking cigarettes and drinking out of an open container for hours. He is always drunk, smells like he hasn't bathed in weeks, and likes to mess with customers in a self serving act of utter cowardice to feed his ego. I have had to walk away from his unwarranted attacks numerous times and would never advise anyone to ever go there in the off chance you would encounter this person. He habitually seeks to harm and intimidate those who he perceives to be vulnerable by insulting their appearance and other Sophmoric and tasteless banter. When he is trying to pick a fight with you, he gets within 2 inches of your face and all one can digest is an extremely repugnant breath of intoxication, cigarette smoke, and pungent body odor.On 3/7/2020, "Keith" threatened with my life in the store and outside when leaving and I was forced to call 911 for fear of my safety. I have an 11 year old daughter named Ella and an 8 year old named Max and my life with them flashed before my eyes.I have no ax to grind, the employees are great the prices are great and location is fantastic. Had to post just to let the Highlands community of the risk. I'm not trying to be a hero.I have connected with the Fifth Division of the Metro Police and they have committed to closely monitoring the area and hopefully this isn't a problem going forward. If you are harassed, please call the local police. You are not a victim.

Teeny-tiny liquor store in the middle of the Highlands. A surprisingly varied selection of wine and beer. And on Saturday night, during Bardstown Road aglow, there were free samples of warmed-up sugar shine moonshine!

Back in the day, I remember this place being an old cameraa shop and then after time passed, turned into a liquor shop.It was late saturday night and I needed some beer- I didn't feel like going to a bar- the Vault was my saving grace! It focuses more on liquor- but has a decent selection of craft and local brews. even has a decent selection of well known tobacco. The staff although I did not catch any of their names- were so friendly as well! Def will shop again when I am in town!

Love this little shop. They go the extra mile to stock my favorite wine. My favorite staff. Always look forward to going in to the vault.

What a horrible business! We brought a bottle wine and their bag broke afterwards which shattered a bottle of red wine over my pants. When we went back into the store they took no responsibility over their defective bags and said too bad. Horrible customer service

Just stopped in asked if they had a few different bourbons and was told "even if we had or got some, it would only go to our special customers." I guess a local customer isn't considered a special customer. Disappointed in a place I used to consider a favorite local go to!

These guys are the best! Even before quarantine, they have had the most knowledgeable and nicest staff in town, and they have continued to be a neighborhood staple through these tough and trying times. These guys always go the extra mile to find just what you want or need for any occasion. Come see Alan, Menefee, Anthony, and Isaiah for the best walk-up service in the Highlands!

This place used to have the best employee I've ever seen. Handsome, knowledgeable, the whole package. Chubby guy with face piercings. Couldn't stop that guy from helping customers. Staff now is good too, I guess he taught them everything he knew.

Secondary and above prices on many bottles but many good finds in the mix. The new manager has no clue what he's doing. Enjoy the ride while he tries to catch up.

There is a liquor store 200 feet from my house and I still choose to drive ten minutes to the highlands to buy from here instead.
