Great food! Great drinks! Great service! Great convo!Stopped in one night on a random stop and only had a drink and a dessert but they took care of me like a bought the place out. Went back again the other night cause I was feeling down and out and they lifted me up with great convo, great mojitos, and a shrimp dish that was perfect for me!

This place did offer very large portions but the items were not tasty like the typical Mexican food I've had. The oysters were slimy I couldn't eat more than one and the Barria tacos were ok they had large cuts of meat rather than the shredded beef so I felt like I was eating pieces of ham. The rice was good and the drinks were great.

Stopped into Marisqueria Vallarta Grill for a fast lunch. All went well. Glad I ate here. The hostess sat me in seconds as it was slow and she also waited on me. Within a minute, I had a bowl of warm, crispy chips and salsa in front of me. Only negative was the 'vanilla' salsa. It's likely Pace Picante. Nothing against that brand but a proper Mexican joint should have housemade product. Chips were great though. I tried the carnitas torta and I enjoyed it. Bread was crisp outside & fresh inside, meat was flavorful but not as spicy as I'd hoped. The portion should be larger than what they provide for an $11 sandwich. But these days, I'm happy when the service is good & the food is edible. I'll come back here. Good joint.

Excellent find. I came for regular tacos and ended up having a seafood taco fiesta. Like a Chinese restaurant with great egg rolls, you may often tell a Mexican restaurant will be good by the quality of the chips they serve. These were robust and seemed homemade. I got two shrimp tacos and a fish taco and a small side of guacamole. Again, pleasantly surprised by the extra mile the establishment went with the guacamole, which had cilantro and other minced goodies and was thick- as it should be. The shrimp tacos were flavorful and came on robust corn tortillas. Full disclosure: I was not a fan of the fish taco and didn't finish it. The fillet seemed slightly undercooked and was a little fishy (JUST a little. I think these folks do seafood right. It just wasn't for me). The meal was accompanied by a classic Mexican Coca Cola and an inviting array of hot sauces. Another check in their favor: any spot that has multiple sauces available for a customer to experiment with is my type of spot. That means the owner values the little extras that build up a client's experience. Mucho gusto!

Wow. WOW.We came here as a group of 5 to celebrate a birthday and a surprise family visit. And now I can't wait to go back for more.A friend of ours had recommended this spot over and over and I finally got to try it. I was with a bunch of people who are fluent in Spanish and did all the talking and ordering with the server. I tried too, but I am woefully gringa in my attempts to habla con las personas. We splurged and ordered a seafood platter that they said would feed 4, so I also ordered a chorizo quesadilla on the side just in case. FOLKS.The platter will certainly feed four people. It might even feed EIGHT. It was at least 50% bigger than I expected it to be, and we brought plenty home as leftovers! I didn't even touch the quesadilla...that made for two other meals of leftovers!The platter was overwhelming, mind-boggling, and delicious! From what I can remember (and I am certain I have forgotten something), the platter included 2 whole fish, tilapia filets, mussels, 2 types of ceviche, shrimp, langoustines, and 3 different types of crab. Everything tasted so so good!Service was good, and they were game to sing happy birthday and smash some whipped cream in the birthday girl's face. We had a grand time and I think more than a week later I am still stuffed to the gills!

This is a hidden gem in the Hurstbourne area. Although their menu is quite varied, they do specialize in seafood I have tried more than 15 items on the menu, and there's nothing I would not have again. The Pescado Valarta is one of my favorites. And I should mention, their rice and beans are definitely worth eating. This is definitely steps above the normal Mexican restaurant. I believe if you try it, you won't be disappointed.

My family had an early dinner today and without a doubt we will return. This restaurant is located within the Plainview Center and is surprisingly large inside. It felt bright and clean inside, plus had a team taking great care of its customers.We enjoyed the complimentary salsa and chips, and both salsas were flavorful. The cheese dip was thin but also eaten up. My teen said his cheese quesadilla and rice were good while my youngest and I enjoyed tacos. Not in the mood for anything too filling I only got 2 carnitas tacos with a flour tortilla. The star entree was my husband's seafood fajitas. He had a lot for his meal and still took home leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. Service was fast, our food was good and the menu is large for appetites of all sizes. Kids meals available. Full bar and a variety of margaritas. Room for small and larger parties. Large private parking lot for the shopping center. No patio seating available.

This place is the best place for a michelada. The drinks are delicious and huge! The food is flavorful, tender and gracious in the portions! The waitresses are always kind and quick; amazing services!! Sometimes there are live mariachi bands and of course soccer game nights are the best! This place will always get 5 stars from me!!
