Upland Brewing - Bloomington

I lived in Bloomington for almost 5 years and used to go to Upland all the time, as well as buy their beer. Their beer is great, the food is delicious, the service was always good, and it's a great spot to hang out with friends.

Long time customer and townie. Most recent trip disappointed. Upon seating at 11:00 as they opened there were flies visible flying from table to table.When I unwrapped my silverware, there was a salad green that had been washed and dried around the tines of my fork. Restroom had graffiti in the stall and the toilet seat was so loose it nearly fell off.I just expect more of a Btown legend.Appetizer (brewery fries) was an incrediblySmall portion and included burnt ends. Other food (Reuben, Tenderloin, and potato salad) were great as was the $12 pitcher of upland wheat.

We came here as we were driving through and loved this place. When I searched for gluten-free, I didn't find a lot in the yelp reviews, but there were a few things on the menu such as a few salads and a burger, but I was just looking for a burger so this place was perfect My burger came on a gluten-free bun was well done. The place had a cool vibe even though it was empty, but we came at 3 PM on a Tuesday The staff was cool and I would definitely come back

This is my friend's grandpa's favorite restaurant! Every-time he is in town he always suggests Upland because it is that good. My favorite thing to get there is the turkey avocado club, they dont have a full bar which is always a little disappointing since i am not a beer or cider drinker but they are a brewery so you cant be too upset. The service is always outstanding, the servers are all so nice and very quick. We will obviously be back!

Went there for lunch with some friends today. I had the fish and chips, they had the tenderloin sandwich. Everything was simply amazing! My fish was absolutely crispy on the outside, tender, and juicy on the inside. The house made tartar sauce made the dish complete. It was accompanied by housemaid fries, which were absolutely fantastic. I wish I had thought to take a picture before I devoured my lunch. The service is always fantastic at this place. I love going there in the summer when you can sit on the patio. But the inside is beautifully decorated with amazing murals and just an overall great vibe.

Whipped Feta & Honey: feta cheese, honey, arugula, black pepper served with toasted pita New York Strip Frites: 12oz Fischer Farms Steak served with brewery fries & rosemary garlic butter Hot Chicken Sandwich: Spicy Nashville-Style, topped with blue cheese coleslaw, house-made pickle chips They have a beautiful outdoor patio that is Dog-friendly and they have space heaters outside right now to keep you warm on those chilly fall evenings!

Was back in town this past Sunday for the afternoon and stopped by to have lunch on the patio. Our server whose name started with an L was amazing! She was super nice and a pleasure to speak to and she made our experience a very enjoyable one! We shared an order of fries and had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious! The patio was large and spacious and we will definitely be back!

I can't stop thinking about that pork chop! It was perfection. SMOKED BLACK BERRY PORK CHOP / 3016 oz Fischer Farms chop, blackberry reduction, bacon-chevre potato hash- The pork chop was enormous, but I enjoyed every bite. Smoked perfectly, with blackberry reduction to counterbalance (I would have liked a bit more with maybe fresh berries as well). I did not care for the potato hash so I switched with my husband and I ate his fries. When I go back, hopefully soon, I am going to ask for slaw or a salad instead.

My husband and I had a wonderful evening here on the patio with our dog! We love a pet friendly establishment, and Upland was great. The staff was friendly and our beer flight was great. We loved the laid back environment. We plan to come back often!

Service was a bit slow -- maybe 10-15 min before she came by to take my drink order the same wait for my food and again when trying to get my bill. I got a Rueben sandwich (that was very good) and one of their beers (that was also very good). I probably should have sat outside but was worried it was going to start raining. Their patio looked nice.
