Tuscany Grill has delicious food and nice service! Great family place to eat in Robinson.

Tuscany GrillWhile visiting Robinson on an extended business trip, we had the pleasure of eating at the Tuscany Grill on several occasions. We were able to try them for breakfast and dinner. The wait staff was always friendly and helpful. The meals were provided hot, fresh, and in a timely manner. Breakfast was the typical fare of eggs, bacon/sausage, omelets, pancakes, etc. Dinners included a mix of typical Italian food, mixed in with a good selection of typical comfort dishes. I had the Carbonara on one trip - excellent. The second dinner included the fried fish, also quite tasty. Prices were very reasonable, too.

Pro-tip: pay cash to avoid the credit card service fee.Ordered a grilled chicken breast and a side of mashed potatoes from Tuscany Grill the other night. The portion was HUGE (as evidenced by my photo), and the taste of the chicken was something I've never had before. It definitely wasn't bland. The mashed potatoes were a little dry, but I didn't have them with gravy so perhaps that's why. I wish they had more available sides - it seems like everything is potatoes. But all in all Tuscany Grill produces a great, filling, tasty chicken breast (you HAVE to have the sautéed mushrooms it comes with!!). I will definitely eat here again when I'm in town!

Brought my son to the restaurant this morning. It isn't very often that I complain about prices, but today is the exception. Today I ordered a short stack of waffles, 2 cups of chocolate milk, a coffee and a fruit bowl.My bill at the end was $25.Let's talk about that for a minute:over $4 for chocolate milkover $3 for 5 pieces of fruit.I realize that we are in a difficult economy, but comeon'and I do and always will tip the waitresses well because your servers are excellent.Might want to rethink the prices on some things...

Robinson IL is a small town, they don't have many options of where to go for a good lunch. Tuscany Grill is one of the places you will want to go while your in Robinson. The place doesn't look like much on the outside, however the food makes up for that. The staff there is very friendly, polite, and attentive your needs.I would recommend the Penne with pink sauce, I added grilled chicken to it and it was very tasty. The sauce was really good, and the chicken was really juice. The chef omelet was huge, it was very filling. The country fried steak with with gravy & mash potatoes was really enjoyable. I will definitely return to when I am back in Robinson.

Great food and wonderful service. I had never gone to a restaurant in this town, because we always ate at grandma's. It was nice to discover a sit down restaurant in this town. I have since found others, but this was the first and still a favorite.

My wife and I came in here last night. Really nice and homey feel to the place. The food is absolutely delicious and everything about our experience was great! Recommended!

Horrible service. Hardly anyone in the restaurant but the waitress was too busy complaining about her life to the people sitting behind us. She also got both our orders wrong and then overcharged us on the bill. Food was substandard. Will never eat there again and I suggest you don't either.

It was very good the ribs were delicious and the service was excellent the beer was cold. I would recommend this to anyone that is Robinson , IL thanks for reading my post

The wait was terrible from the get go. It took at least 5 minutes for anyone to come up to us to start with and then longer to be seated. My elderly mother was not happy with her food and sent it back. They basically said it was her problem and made us pay for the dinner she had two bites of. The manager was exceptionally rude when I discussed this with her! I will never go back or tell anyone about this place as they visit the area Except not to go!!
