Tropical Snow Shaved Ice

There are so many good flavors to choose from, my favorite is Stacy's special. And the employees are very nice.

Delicious little place to bring friends and family for some shaved ice. Plenty of place to sit and enjoy.Plenty of space for parking.This place does not disappoint. Especially on a hot summer day. Did visit a couple of times and the service was wonderful!

This was our first visit here. Their location is right off Main Street in downtown Shelbyville, so it's very easy to get to. You enter on the right and it's a one way. In the center is the stand and a few picnic tables. Normally this place is slammed, but we were the only ones in line tonight.We ordered a variety of flavors.. all size small. The portions are pretty big, so we all got smalls. Everything tasted ok. The kids enjoyed theirs a lot! Sadly, I was left with a... weird taste in my mouth. My four year old was handed hers and it was a little lopsided... five seconds later it fell off the cup and she started crying. We've never had this scenario happen, but I feel like most places would've replaced it for free in the name of courteous customer service. We were charged for another snow cone. Of course I understand they need to make their money, but a sad experience would've been turned into a great one with that kind gesture.

Locally owned mom and pop Shaved Ice Shop. My wife picked a small grape. While I decided on the sugar free cherry. This is a Military friendly location!!! Show Military ID and they upgrade to next size for free!!! They is parking and picnic tables to enjoy your ice treat. We will return with kids and grandkids.

This business only operates 4 or 5 months a year during the summer months. There is not much signage but don't let that stop you from checking it out. Enter on the driveway to the right of the small building and park horizontally angled around the perimeter of the business. Once you've enjoyed your cold treat exit by continuing the loop around the small shack, (you'll have to turn right on to Main St because it is one way).Today when I went to check this business out there was only one family enjoying their refreshments at one of the nicely painted blue picnic tables. The girls working the window were very pleasant to visit with. They were not frazzled at all considering they had just completed serving a group of 35 Elementary School kids from a summer program that had walked here on a field trip. (I had seen this group several blocks away from the business when I was driving down Main St.)I ordered a small Strawberry Cheesecake shaved ice ($2.) It was huge and I'm glad I opted for the small size. I made myself comfortable at the second blue picnic table and enjoyed the cold but not overly sweet shaved ice treat. After I left the table I noticed the girls came out and wiped both the tables. There was no sticky mess when I arrived but there may have been when I left if not for these efficient girls. This is summer #2 for the business. I hope there is enough business to keep this little stand open for years to come. I'll be back on occasion for a cold sweet treat. There are so many flavor choices that I will never work my way through them all.

Great little local place for a shaved ice. Service was great as was the shaved ice. Highly recommend. I should also mention they have several sugar free flavors.

I love their shaved I've. It's like a slushee! But not melty, it's awesome! And they flavor the snow cones perfectly . Highly. Recommend the coke float snow one. It's awesome!!! 5 stars! It's easy to get to. They aren't open enough because no one knows it's good and up and running. The place is awesome, you should really try it out, it's even better than ice cream!

They are very friendly. Love the many flavors you can choose from. Great price. Very chill place to hang out with. Family friendly. Love to visit. Give it a try!!
