The food was good but I'm more impressed with the price! I'm going to be honest, I don't typically look at prices too much. I know I'm going out, I know things are pricy, it just is what it is.We ordered 2 appetizers- the onion rings and the pickle fries. I had the tenderloin with fries, and hubby had the wings and a side salad. We also had two sodas and a glass of wine (on special $5) and the bill was under $70! CRAZY! The food is pretty good. Hubby really liked the wings. The onion rings were crazy big and yummy battered. Our waiter was on it and the food was served pipping hot. We will be back when we're in the area!

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times and it hasn't disappointed! The menu is filled with a lot of good options and the drink specials are a good deal. The pretzel bites are delicious - they are deep fried which makes them a little different than most places and salted just right. I got the chilli cheeseburger and while heavy as expected, the combination was delicious! The fries were okay - they are seasoned so I expected more flavor from them and instead found them a bit bland, but still cooked well. There is plenty of seating, but the outside area is nice on a summer evening. Service was good, food came out at a good pace, especially for a Saturday evening. Definitely recommend this place if looking for American fare!

The food was great as always. Don't like the new pay system. Hard to review your check with the server standing there holding the machine then the tip starts at 22%. When I was done my wife asked how much was the bill and I could not tell her. All I know was the tip amount. On the fence if this is enough not to return. We visited at least once a month in the past

We visit Tried and True fairly often though to be honest its not my favorite place to eat. Why.. I think its the noise that puts me off. THe food is pretty good though my burger is only ok.. not great but according to my friends this is how the burgers run here. Ambience is important to my eating experience but somehow Tried and True fails each time We will no doubt be back. This is my daughters favorite Greenwood restaurant but I dont know what will wow me to 5 stars..

OK, the wife and I have been here many times, that's how good it is. The service is outstanding and the food is pretty darn good. The beer is cold and the best part in the winter you can actually bring your dog and sit in the heated patio watching your favorite sports team play. The wife and I both had house salads which are $4.99 and are huge and delicious, neither one of us could finish it. My wife had a cup of the tomato bisque. I tried some. It was really different. Had a little bit of sweetness to it. I really didn't care for it and neither did she but I've had other friends that rave about it so to each his own, we sat in the patio, which was heated and quiet and you can bring a bunch of friends in your party plenty of seating room at least when we went. most of the folks want to sit inside, but we really enjoy it outside and our server, Her name was Nevada, Please ask for her. She is awesome. We are definitely going back. With our dog, it's really our son's dog, but he got deployed so she has found a home with us and is a welcomed member to our family. Please bring your furry four-legged friends and we will see you at Tree and True. Alehouse.

We decided to go here to Celebrate St Patricks the band and the atmosphere was very festive. All staff was dressed up. Our waiters Turned 23. He did a great job keeping up with all his tables. We tried to buy him a drink but he said he wasn't allowed bummer I didn't care for the pretzel (they wasn't pretzels it was fried bread. But the rest of the table liked them. My daughter stated the peppers were very good!! We had a great time !
