The Triangle Grille

We went on a Sunday and decided to have the breakfast buffet.The hostess was super friendly and so was our server who left a carafe of coffee on our table . We both had scrambled eggs, fruit , sausage , biscuits and gravy along with a made to order omelette along with some toast and orange juice . My friend Melissa mans the omelette station and does an awesome job! You should definitely try her omelettes! As for the dining room or if we're going to be fancy I'll use the word ambiance. It's well lit with huge windows that face the street and give you a view of Triangle Park .For the two of us I paid about 42.00 and it was definitely worth it as you can tell from the pictures I pretty much demolished my food before I thought of posting pictures lol.

One of the best burgers I've had - The Bigg Blue Burger. The French Fries are off the chart, so exceptional !!! Service to march thanks Chase, very attentive polite young man. Not sure why all the negative reviews, everything was perfect plus convenient in the lobby of the Hilton. Ambiance is comfortable, clean, nothing notable though. Here in town for the Breeders' Cup and everything at the hotel was well done.

If you want a wonderful breakfast made and served by friendly staff, the Triangle Grille is the place! Everyone from the hostess to the servers are friendly and always happy to see you. The buffet has a staggering selection of hot and cold favorites, juices, breads and the topper, Ms Avis' world famous "Avis Omelette!" Ms. Avis prepares your omelette to order as you watch her work her magic! Her fresh ingredients are awesome and second only to her wonderfully sweet smile!Everyone here seems to follow her lead with smiles and kindness! For the past two years, we have had the pleasure of knowing our server Mark, the hostess Mary, and others here at the Triangle Grille.Don't let this wonderful gastronomic experience pass you by!!

I was lucky enough to check this place out twice during my trip and each time, the service was EXCELLENT! I made a special request for a Kentucky Hot Brown, which wasn't on the menu, but one of the managers made it happen and it was DELICIOUS! The next morning, I had breakfast and, again, received REALLY good service! You guys are doing everything right!

This doesn't look like 4 hotel's restaurant. First of all, I had hair on top of my eggs!!! the top of the pepper container was off, half of it got on the omelet. Also, the hotel's renovating right there in the dining room. This only star goes to our server that was great and did an amazing job!

Mark our server was very nice. He was the only one taking food orders. Suddenly he was inundated with customers and another server was only seating and getting coffee. Food was ok but nothing special. The biggest off putting thing was a dirty old cart they rolled around to tables delivering food.

I was recently in Lexington for a conference and I needed a quick bite to eat for breakfast. Since the Triangle Grille was located in my hotel (the Hilton Lexington Downtown) I thought I'd give it a shot. I have to say, I was pretty impressed. I got the vegetable frittata with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and swiss cheese. It was really good, well cooked and flavorful as were the hashbrowns and sausage that came with it. It's not the best breakfast I've ever eaten but it was certainly preferable over fast food and a nice choice for a quick breakfast when out of town!

Food was amazingly bad. Not edible. I would avoid this place at all costs. Not eating is better than that.

I ate supper here with a group a couple of nights ago during a conference I was attending that was being held at the Hilton.We were seated as soon as we arrived and they seemed quite slow (we were eating a little late, but considering that there were two smaller conferences at the hotel, it still seemed slower than I should).The wait staff was off and on with their attentiveness. We went through periods where they were readily available, to periods where we were wondering if they had forgotten about us.The food was generally good. I had the chicken sandwich, which wasn't spicy (even though the menu description indicated that it should be), and it came without the ranch described in the menu (although the server did fix this for me). The cat fish sandwich was a hit at the table with the two folks that had it.Overall, it was quite good and reasonably priced for a hotel restaurant.

Unfortunately, I can not leave a good review. We been here at least four times and the food is good, but it's always too cold to enjoy your meal. And it doesn't matter what time you come to the restaurant. I like air conditioning like everyone else but it's way too cold. And when I say its cold, it's COLD. I mentioned this to the front desk and they told me that they receive " a ton of complaints" and that it takes forever for the hotel lobby and restaurant to heat up.
