I should've taken photos of the food but I didn't.. let's start off by saying this little restaurant is in such a hot cute little spot right on the water that's perfect and if you're staying at the resort like we did it's right there so you don't have to leave I would say it's quick to get but it's not it took forever for a server to take our order. I ordered the bang bang shrimp, appetizer and my boyfriend ordered the buffalo chicken pizza, grated it was and appetizer for 13$ I would think you would get more then 5 little cold shrimp ugh ! Yes the sauce was pretty good the shrimp were almost mushy and over cooked they were fried but it seemed like they had been sitting in the sauce for so long it was just all mush, about 20-25 minutes later my boyfriend's pizza came out now this was actually pretty Okay although the ranch they put on it gets kinda hot and almost makes it taste sour I'd see if you could get it on the side to like dip it in

Food is mediocre just no flavor skinny with the amount of food on the plate. Service is above average nothing to write home about. Best thing going is the ambience. Very well appointed. Wished I could give the restaurant a higher rating.

First, I'll start out by saying the restaraunt is in a great place, it has a great view of the beautiful lake. The food just was not very good. You expect more when you go to a nice place like this, but it was very disappointing. The toast was burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle, the eggs were watery, and the potatoes were so very dry. To me, it just tasted like cheap hotel breakfast, the problem is, this isn't a normal hotel, and this place isn't cheap. It just wasn't the type of standard you'd expect at a nicer resort. The resort itself is very nice however. The food just needs to step up its game!

Very good pizza! The service isn't bad. The view is nice. The nachos, calamari, and tenderloin are average. Pizza is definitely the go to for an easy lunch or dinner after the boat. Nice location I would go back

This location was only open for breakfast during our stay. The breakfast bar was really good. The eggs, bacon, biscuits, and gravy were well prepared and the waffles were great. My server, Jenna W, was very attentive and offered me a coffee to go. My only criticism is that the interior is dated like the rest of the hotel and was showing a lot of wear. The large windows facing the lake needed to be cleaned.

First let me say the say the waiter and waitress were doing the best they could. Very polite and kind considering there were only two of them working an area that should have had at lest five. Now that being said, have you ever been bent over and taken advantage of ? That's how I feel now. My wife and I paid $30 for breakfast and here is what we received (buffet was the only option)..warm coffee..dry biscuits..gravy..jam..butter..ugly sausage..cold potatoes..greasy scrambled eggs..a "breakfast sandwich " that I almost spit out the first bite. I have Hilton Dimond status and 99% of the free breakfasts are better than this. Sorry guys but you are, and should be better than this. A hotel full of guests, no other real options for breakfast and this is how you feed us. Today we are going to pick up some McDonalds breakfast and warm it up tomorrow morning. I am confident it will be 100% better. A final note. Staff thanks for working hard in such a dismal place.

We were staying in the Tradewinds hotel so this was our most convenient option for breakfast. The food was bad.

I never thought I'd be leaving a good review of this place. It use to be such a shit hole like 10-15 years ago (apprenticed in the kitchen for school and it was horribly disgusting). I was actually a little scared to try it but we received a gift certificate for dinner over the holidays and just went tonight...it was amazing. A whole new staff thankfully and everything was not only clean but cooked perfectly. I have never had a properly cooked scallop in the Midwest until tonight. Pricing is in the upper range for Bloomington. 4 scallops were $22ish (pretty big ones and the entrees come with two sides and a salad or soup and rolls of varying types), the king size portion of prime rib was around $30ish and we got the fried tomatoes at a normal appetizer range of pricing (somewhere under $10). We don't dress up to go places, and I'm sure the tattoos don't help with their preconceived notions, so sometimes we get biased service in places but the server there was nice and was on top of everything, kept our drinks filled, very attentive. We were the only ones in there (which is unfortunate for them but awesome for us since people suck). We definitely want to go back and try the other dishes, maybe next tax season.

Poor and extremely slow service, our server was more interested in the other female servers than his customers, so with poor service comes a poor gratuity. The food was actually very good was the sad part. I ended up getting my own beer from the bar and finishing with a good meal overshadowed by (1) poor server. On the bright side, the bar tender was awesome and very responsive.
