nice atmosphere, great lightning actually not too dark not too bright.Staff is GREAT I was there for 1/2 price wine night -- yay.Tinga and shrimp tacos - great yes gringo flavors, coming from a Mexican palate... Then a ceviche tostado Again yummy. I will say the corn tortillas that the tacos are in was amazing I don't know that they were hand prepared but they were very very good.

I am in town for business and have eaten here several times. The food is always good and they have delicious cocktails. If I hadn't started out with the Meat pie, this would probably be a 5 star review. The Meat pie tasted like pot roast on a crescent roll. The brisket was very fatty. I was not a fan.I also had the Chili Lime Shrimp Taco which was very good and is one of my favorites here. For drinks I had the Blood Orange Caipirinha and an Old Fashioned. Both cocktails were perfect.Bar service was a little slow, but the bartender on my side of the bar seemed to be tasked with fixing drinks for the whole backside of the restaurant.Overall, I really enjoy this place and will probably be back the next time I am in town.

Food Fantastic Service Atmosphere I'll be back!! I stared with oysters, great, then clams fantastic (OMG, the sauce they are in wow), last Lamb chops Phenomenal. I'm so sorry I did not think to take pics of the oysters and clams for this review. Great dinner, im certainly going back. Bartender 5/15 evening was very friendly and provided his food recommendation, which I might add, just follow his lead. Very enjoyable dinner and experience. Oh yeah, if you'd like tequila, they have a good selection.

What an amazing place to eat. Visiting friending while on vacation. Our server was Jowlz and he was what made the review 5 stars. He greeted us at the door and sat us at our table. He continued to be our server. His smile was so contagious and super kind. He gave his recommendations and we definitely listened to him. His recommendations were on point.

I always love sharing and Toro is great for that with their selection of tapas. We ordered Street Corn Fritters, Garlic Shrimp, Stuffed Piquillo Peppers and the Meat Pie. We loved the peppers and meat pie. The corn fritters were okay and garlic shrimp was pretty good. Overall a good experience!

Is everything I rate five stars the best I've ever had? No. But I rate establishments based not only on food, but service, decor, ambiance.Toro isn't exactly true tapas, and not really true Spanish food--maybe an Americanized version, but it's something different for Bowling Green. We had a few of their tapas dishes: papas brava (like patatas bravas, or spicy home fries), ceviche (calamari, corn, veggies, shrimp--I didn't have, but my friend liked it). We also had the pork belly and its mustard like sauce. It was crispy outside and chewy inside, as expected. They also have a tasty looking meat pie, flamed salmon, yuca fries, Spanish meatballs, and more. There are salads, quesadillas, and entrees. I had the pork belly pasta (linguine, peas, mushrooms, cream, cheese). I was surprised that the pasta was very close to Al dente, which is hard to find in a restaurant--the pasta is usually overdone. They also have steak dishes, enchiladas, fish, paella. We also had several cocktails. We tried their margarita, which was a little sweet. The blood orange caipirinha, which wasn't as sweet, but was a little different than the traditional, but pretty good. The amigos perdidos was tart. Their mezcal mule wasn't traditional either, but it was so tasty I had two! Very light and refreshing. They had several cocktails to choose from. Our server was the bartender--he seemed to be everyone's server. He was attentive and nice and gave us several recommendations. One thing I would recommend: please turn down the overhead music, and maybe pick something a little lower key. It's hard to concentrate on conversation and the food when music is blaring.Overall, I would come here again to try some more dishes and drinks. An interesting addition to the fairly vanilla Bowling Green dining scene.

The intimate setting and drink options are the best in Bowling Green. The variety of dishes brings a Latin flair to our city. I highly recommend this as an option for gatherings or going on a date with your significant other.

Exquisite enchiladas! Three different types in one delicious meal. The Cantarito cocktail was the perfect accompaniment. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We like the bar side atmosphere best.

Went for a late lunch last Friday and had a very casual Spain-like graze. We really aimed to take the time to enjoy our meal. And what a perfect place to do it! Our server was the kindest, eager to help and recommend certain dishes. Very warm and attentive. And the food!!! So delicious. Our favorite was the pork belly, but the calamari de diablo was quite delicious as well. I also love the meat pie, but my friend found it too rich. And don't skip out on the cream brûlée... the perfect dessert to end the meal.
