I had a fantastic time at Top 1 Korean BBQ and Hotpot and would recommend you try this gem out for yourself! You can either order all you care to eat hotpot - or Korean BBQ - or both! For what felt like a steal. My party and I chose the hotpot-only option. This included picking your base broth and then being able to add different seasonings, sauces, and of course protein and vegetable ingredients along the way. The staff was attentive and so generous with portions. They were urging us to try new things and checked on how we were doing often. We had a small party of two but the restaurant space is ready to handle large parties as well. They have two separate sections of BBQ / hotpot tables, a bar area, kimchi bar, and sauces bar, not to mention ice cream and dessert treats if you can possibly eat more after your meal. This restaurant is as much about the experience as it is about the meal itself. Now that I know the layout I'll bring a larger party next time, it was good fun and a great value for the money.

My husband and I came here because he had been wanting to try it for a while and we will definitely be back. We liked the vibe of the bar area/back room. It had colored lights, TVs and good music playing. The food was a good deal for all you can eat. All of the meat was delicious, we especially liked the short ribs and bulgogi. The soup was also tasty and perfect for a cold evening. Also have ice creams and pastries included for dessert. Service was wonderful as well!

The service was magnificent and the food choices were superb! You have different choices of meat, seafood, vegetables and noodles. You cook your own food on the grill. Also your own hotpot. Everything is in the table. They also serve hot and cold sake, wine and cocktails. This was a perfect Saturday!

Top 1 Korean BBQ and HotpotWas this the greatest ever? I lost track of how many helpings of bulgogi, garlic chicken, and sliced pork belly we had. This place also had a neat little room that served as a sauce/condiment buffet of any possible flavoring you would care to add along with a cold appetizer bar that had kimchi and other veggies. Everyone needs to check out the menu and visit this place. We only discovered ayce Korean bbq style restaurants a few weeks ago when we visited one in Indy. This onw was much nicer. These will now become a new #ayce option in our rotation. There are so many options we ran out of time to try. There is a two hour time limit. And we pushed that limit. We can't wait to return and try some if the seafood options. We ordered the meat and hot pot. You can also order just the meat, just the hot pot,or both. But both is only $5 more. I had the pho beef style base. She had Thai Tom Yum base. They may have the prettiest menu ever. You all must check it out.

I'm a fan of KBBQ! And it's trendy these days, so I was excited to try this place. We were able to find parking right out front but it backs out onto the street. A few of my friends found parallel by the building. When we walked in, we couldn't get seated. You have to wait til your full party is there before they give you a table. On a Friday night at 5:30, there were people dining at the front room but most of the tables in the back room were still open.We opted to do both hot pot and BBQ. So it was $40 per person. And we chose a lot of meats and some seafood: squid, shrimp, pork belly, short rib, bulgogi, and some other stuff. So they do have options for pescatarians but I wouldn't bring your vegan friends here. Some of the meats are marinated but not all. They do have dipping sauces in the front room which was great! The meats were very delicious! Definitely good quality meats. For hot pot, we all got different broths. Some of us got original while some of us got Szechuan. Really good! But you get full kinda fast with this addition. We finished most of the food, but had a tiny bit of tofu and fish balls left. They didn't charge for that, but my friend who was with us had been here before and told us they usually do charge for meat leftovers. The only things I didn't love were that it's not well-ventilated. It's not always that I'm at a KBBQ spot and my clothes smell, but they def will here. The front room did smell more than the back room we were in. It did get a bit smokey as well. Also, the desserts were American. Not bad! But most of us at the table were Asian so we kinda wanted Asian desserts. The banchan was...just kimchi. I'm used to getting more than that but they could be tailoring the experience for people who aren't used to fermented flavors.Overall, it's a fun time! I'll be back!

This truly has got to be the most not user friendly place for hot pot...I sat down for just myself... and was seated to a table for 6. You order everything with the waitress, and sometimes it's brought out by a robot cat, sometimes it's brought by the staff. The sauce bar is situated in a corner by the cashier. Things aren't labeled well, and already... with how new this place is, some of the bottles with labels are worn off. I had to lift up a lid to smell it to ensure it was sesame oil. It's so small and cramped that it only allows for one patron at a time.I left to go wash my hands and even the bathroom was not user friendly. I could not figure out how to use the sink, and then I realized that the nozzle to turn on the sink was on the wall. The hot pot itself makes for a mess. The bowl for the hot pot goes underneath the table. There is less than 6 inches between the bottom of that pot and the end of the table, which means you can barely put any bowls next to it to catch the broth. It's also 35$ for just either hot pot or kbbq, this price is astronomical for how small each portion is.No... never again.

The food was decent, pretty typical hot pot quality. The location lacks ventilation which isn't bad when they're not so busy but can be a problem when they're busier. Everyone at the table has to order the same thing (either hot pot or bbq or both). The ingredients come out in minimal servings and they may be out of things. Many sauces on the sauce bar are unlabeled. There are items that are upcharged and they did not confirm if that was the item we wanted when my kid asked for a refill of "steak". They brought 4 "ribeyes" (which are as thin as deli meat) and charged an additional $9 a piece for them. It was underwhelming and far from worth the price. I'm glad we gave it a try but we won't be back.

Wow, this place did not disappoint! We've been anxiously awaiting the opening of this much anticipated restaurant and finally got to try it out. We arrived before opening on a Sunday afternoon, and there was already a small line outside. The restaurant has two rooms for seating, each seat with individual hot pot bowls and a BBQ grill in the middle. Pricing is $40 for an adult meal and for an additional $5 you can add Korean BBQ. Table time limits are 2 hours. Service started off a little slow, and it took around 20 minutes to finally order but we spent that time looking at the menu and options. Everyone opted for a different hot pot broth, some are spicy and others have no spice. Our group mostly went with traditional no spice but I chose the Tom Yum broth, which was spicy and delicious. We all selected different noodles and ordered an array of vegetables and meats to start with. Menu is attached, but I think it's been updated since we went. Don't skip the corn, Bok choy, dumplings, and shrimp. We then switched gears to the Korean BBQ and ordered galbi, spicy bulgogi chicken, pork belly and vegetables and pineapple, which was a fan favorite. They do have a disclaimer, that uneaten portions will be charged so our group orders the perfect amount. Our server came by many times to check in on our and put in additional orders. One thing to mention is every item is an individual portion so for many items we ordered a few orders. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!

The service and atmosphere was great. Food was even better. They accommodated one individual in our party who medically is not able to eat much and did not charge. We called other places who refused to accommodate. I will definitely be back. The one thing I would do differently is order less amounts of food up front. Our table was overwhelmed and couldn't even fit everything and we felt bad for wasting. I would order 1-2 plates at a time and go from there.

They accepted a reservation at 8 for valentines only for us to show up to hear that they don't have a list of reservations and that the manager is no where to be found for over an hour wait. Ruined our date plans completely unprofessional will never come back
