Tomo Japanese Restaurant

The miso soup and teriyaki chicken was amazing, the best teriyaki chicken I've ever had. The service was quick and the employees were very friendly. The ambiance was nice and felt very authentic feeling.

Service was HORRIBLE!!! I come from a very long history of food service and bar management and I've never seen service like this. If you don't know the answer, the correct response is, "I will find that out for you!", not "Oh, I don't know. I'm pretty sure, but I don't really know."Don't ask if a table who has sat for 25 minutes without attention and have empty glasses "You want some more water?" Fill the glass. DO NOT take my glass by the top with your fingers all over the area where I put my lips to drink. If you are another server and you're just hanging out, talking, looking at fellow server's tables looking stranded, ask if you can help them. The failure of the other servers around you affects the business that is paying you money. Food was good. Took a long time to get it. Had to ask the server where the salads and soup for the rest of the table were, since I was sitting there with mine for 10 minutes waiting to eat. The food was good.

I hate having to leave reviews like this, but inconsistent service will lose your customers, like myself. If you have three people in the back working the sushi bar, two people over in the bar area stocking, three people cleaning tables out in the front when you first open ....then you should have someone at the door for the line that's already forming. When you don't, I take my money elsewhere. I've had great experience here before, but the last three have just been less than satisfying. It's easy to overlook at happening once or twice, but more than twice as a pattern and an intentional pattern at that. No one wants to be ignored when they come in esp when people are making eye contact with them. They want to be greeted with a smile -they want to be seated & they want to be waited on.

This restaurant has a hibachi grill, sushi, and a bar. It looks like a little old restaurant, but they do an excellent job keeping the interior clean.The sushi was beautifully presented and tasted great. Our friends had the hibachi grill for lunch.-The prices were reasonable.-You have to choose a salad or soup.-The show was very simple, but the chef had a good sense of humor.He asked for my wife's name and wrote it on the fried rice in Korean. The sauce at Hibachi Grill was something special.

Lunch is reasonable for this entertainment meal with fire, veggies, fries rice and tasty scallops. The presentation is the standard onion volcano, spinning eggs and fancy chopping.Took a long minute to wait for others to appear at the grill. Enjoyed the meal and the banter.This place can seat a lot! Could use a little updating, but focus is on the food. The sushi has lots of options. Enjoyed.

Service was ok but not great, food was terrible for the price for example the pork dumplings seemed microwaved and probably frozen originally. The sushi was subpar. Finally the hibachi was kind of not that good. Spend your money somewhere else.

The service is very good and the food is excellent. I would recommend it for business or family dining

We were the only table the server had at 7pm on a Monday, yet we rarely saw him. The salad was runny, meat was lukewarm, and soup wasn't served until several minutes after the entrees were served.

Food poisoning!Ate here recently and got violently ill. Nausea, diarrhea, etc. for a week! Labs confirmed food poisoning from shell fish (only place I've eaten that serves shellfish). Won't go back, others should be aware.

Food was ok. Our cook wasn't as entertaining as previous visits. We took out of town family here for a nice experience. Some of the proteins were overcooked. Sushi was excellent. Our waitress was attentive and took care of us. Must have been a new cook. We won't let it keep us from returning
